We find ourselves in one of the best places for wrestling, as the promotion takes it back to the UK. For this week, Friday Night Fight Night will be hitting <a href=\"https:\/\/www.theo2.co.uk\/events\/detail\/wwe-smackdown-2026\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">The O2<\/a>, live from London, England.<\/p>\n<p>While WWE Raw will be held live from The O2, SmackDown will be taped the day after on Tuesday, with the broadcast still slated for broadcast on June 26, 2026, in the same Friday time slot on The USA Network. Nobody really knows why SmackDown is being taped in London and not Riyadh like last year.<\/p>\n<p>That said, it is a welcome surprise, giving WWE talent and crew time to recuperate ahead of another huge event in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. What we know so far is that hometown girl Paige, one-half of the WWE Women&#8217;s Tag Team Champions, will be in attendance, as she goes head-to-head against the leader of Fatal Influence, Jacy Jayne, as well as a massive test for the current AAA Cruiserweight Champion.<\/p>\n<p>Expect some of the biggest stars to show up, as they build towards the June-ending PLE. Without further ado, let&#8217;s get right into it. Here are the WWE SmackDown spoilers for June 26, 2026, taped on June 23, 2026. As per <a href=\"https:\/\/lastwordonsports.com\/prowrestling\/2026\/06\/19\/wwe-smackdown-results-post-show-review-6-19-26-live-updates\/\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_self\">last week&#8217;s<\/a> Queen of the Ring semifinals matchup, Charlotte Flair is still selling an injury she sustained when she got attacked by Jade Cargill&#8217;s crew prior to her match against <a href=\"https:\/\/lastwordonsports.com\/prowrestling\/2026\/06\/19\/liv-morgan-advances-to-queen-of-the-ring-2026-tournament-finals-on-6-19-wwe-smackdown\/\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_self\">Liv Morgan<\/a>. Michin and B-FAB pick up the win after an interference from Cargill. With this result, it&#8217;s more than likely Tiffany Stratton will retain the Women&#8217;s United States Title at Saturday&#8217;s PLE.<\/li>\n<li>Backstage, there was a promo involving Solo Sikoa and MFT. Seems like more tension, as Sikoa continues to get involved in the business of The Bloodline, as he gets shunned by Talla and Tama Tonga, more than likely effectively ending MFT.<\/li>\n<li>As advertised last week, AAA Cruiserweight Champion Rey Fenix defends against Nathan Frazer. Fenix retained the AAA Cruiserweight Champion. The match was great, as anyone would expect from these two, but Fenix keeping the title was more than promised.<\/li>\n<li>A funny backstage interview with WWE Tag Team Champions R-Truth and Damian Priest went on during the show after they successfully retained against MFT last week.<\/li>\n<li>After assisting LA Knight in his match against Jimmy Uso on Monday Night Raw, Solo Sikoa confronted the &#8220;Megastar&#8221; on WWE SmackDown, having a heated promo segment.<\/li>\n<li>In a backstage vignette, Sami Zayn continues to vent his frustrations to an unresponsive Johnny Gargano, as the latter&#8217;s wife, Candice LeRae, looks for signs of life.<\/li>\n<li>Hometown girl Paige performs in front of her home country as she takes on Jacy Jayne. After a tense display, Paige managed to rake in a win in London.<\/li>\n<li>We see Finn Balor seemingly linking up with Tama Tonga and Talla Tonga. As everyone knows, back in their NJPW days, Balor and Tama were founding members of the Bullet Club, with Talla being a part of a later iteration of the group. This segment could be a sign that Balor may be planning a new iteration of The Club once again.<\/li>\n<li>Backstage, we see Danhausen, with &#8220;past versions&#8221; of The Miz and Kit Wilson during &#8220;DanhausenTV&#8221;, interact with Matt Cardona and Los Garza. The segment ended as a catalyst for a tag team match between Danhausen and Cardona, taking on Angel and Berto. Shocking, Miz and Kit may have been the best Danhausen has ever made, as they assisted him and Cardona to win the match against Los Garza.<\/li>\n<li>Before her big title match against Tiffany Stratton, Jade Cargill takes on Chelsea Green. Cargill squashes Green, and Stratton tried to assist post-match, when Jade was standing atop her when all was said and done. As WWE dictates, whoever has momentum going into the PLE will more than likely lose. Expect Stratton still to have the Women&#8217;s U.S. Title next WWE SmackDown.<\/li>\n<li>Solo Sikoa got interviewed backstage after a rough night in London. Royce Keys would have a conversation with Sikoa about the whole ordeal tonight.<\/li>\n<li>Giulia goes up against her former representative, Kiana James, as they settle the score once and for all. Giulia scores the win to get one over Kiana. Post-match, finally, Blake Monroe <a href=\"https:\/\/lastwordonsports.com\/prowrestling\/2026\/05\/22\/blake-monroe-debuts-on-5-22-wwe-smackdown\/\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_self\">makes her debut (again)<\/a>, attacking Giulia. This could be a good introductory feud for Monroe; unfortunately, Giulia might be eating the loss in this feud as she&#8217;s just about to get a face run.<\/li>\n<li>To cap off the WWE SmackDown spoilers for June 26, 2026, Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes and Sami Zayn have one last confrontation before their Triple Threat Match, with Gunther, at WWE Night of Champions for the title. Gunther would join in the festivities as the segment reached a new boiling point. The show ended with <a href=\"https:\/\/lastwordonsports.com\/prowrestling\/2026\/06\/19\/jey-uso-advances-to-wwe-king-of-the-ring-2026-finals-at-night-of-champions\/\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_self\">King of the Ring finalists Jey Uso<\/a> and Oba Femi joining in on the action, as WWE SmackDown ended in chaos with all five men brawling in the ring. Cody Rhodes and Oba Femi shared a stare-down in the aftermath.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"\" style=\"max-width: 610px\"><smartframe-embed class=\"smartframe_wp_element\" customer-id=\"8afcbf7a9ed3fd6bf7763b62addc7cf8\" image-id=\"3He6MYvTrKIS\" style=\"width: 100%; display: inline-flex; max-width: 5250px; aspect-ratio: 5250\/3684;\" ><\/smartframe-embed><\/p>\n<h2>Final Thoughts<\/h2>\n<p>It&#8217;s a pretty run-of-the-mill &#8220;go-home&#8221; show for a WWE PLE. That said, they did set up a few things that could be interesting down the line. First of all, Sikoa getting kicked out of MFT, as well as the interactions between Finn Balor and Tama and Talla Tonga.<\/p>\n<p>Sikoa must\u00a0<em>not<\/em> join The Bloodline again and, in fact, go &#8220;Solo.&#8221; Sikoa deserves so much more than he is credited for, and him going up against The Bloodline alone could be a much-needed swerve to this already tired Bloodline saga. Sikoa isn&#8217;t your typical babyface, but he can pull it off if anyone is aware of how he is backstage and during fan interactions.<\/p>\n<p>As for the mini &#8220;Bullet Club&#8221; reunion, it&#8217;s clear WWE doesn&#8217;t know what to do with Finn Balor, and even Tama and Talla. Balor has been stuck in factions for most of his tenure in WWE, and it seems like he&#8217;s in for another one. We might be wrong, and this &#8220;The Club 3.0&#8221; could be fun, considering it&#8217;s practically Bullet Club-lite again.<\/p>\n<p>Another noteworthy development is that Blake Monroe finally debuts. While that&#8217;s amazing since Monroe is a great performer, it spells doom for Giulia. When we thought WWE would do right by her by turning her face to a pretty considerable reaction from the WWE Universe, Giulia was thrust into a feud that Blake Monroe can&#8217;t afford to lose. If Monroe stands any chance of being a major player, she must win this rivalry.<\/p>\n<p>Ironically enough, if she doesn&#8217;t, she&#8217;ll end up in the same place Giulia is in now. We feel bad for Giulia, considering she&#8217;s a great performer who&#8217;s just been dealt yet another bad hand from creative. Just move her to Raw and let her and Stephanie Vaquer tear it up once La Primera is back.<\/p>\n<p>WWE is teasing a feud between Cody Rhodes and Oba Femi with that massive staredown. We would\u00a0<em>love<\/em> to see it. Hopefully, once WrestleMania season comes around, Femi would go on to win the 2027 Royal Rumble, setting up a star-making main event against Cody Rhodes, if the &#8220;American Nightmare&#8221; is still champion by then, that is.<\/p>\n<p>This week&#8217;s WWE SmackDown is just an okay episode, considering they&#8217;ve had two good, to even great, past episodes.
