Back in August 2023, the WWE Universe lost a legend, Bray Wyatt<\/a>. He was beloved by his fans and peers. The WWE was deeply affected by his sudden and tragic passing, but they ensured his legacy would not be forgotten.<\/span><\/p>\n

Bray Wyatt initially debuted in WWE in 2010 on the second season of NXT. By 2013, Wyatt was debuting on the main roster alongside Erik Rowan and Luke Harper, the beginning of the Wyatt Family. They dominated the tag team division and brought a unique horror aspect to the company that had never been seen before. Since then, it has been obvious how much dedication Bray Wyatt has put into the company.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Wyatt had feuds with legends such as The Undertaker, John Cena, Randy Orton, and many more. He took Little Miss Bliss under his wing and expanded his character through her.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

However, now that he is gone, how is the WWE keeping Bray Wyatt\u2019s name alive? What\u2019s left of Bray Wyatt in the WWE among the recent releases?\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The Release of The Wyatt Sicks<\/span><\/h2>\n

WWE holds their annual lump sum of WWE releases around after WrestleMania time, and this year, it was upsetting to see the entire Wyatt Sicks group get released<\/a>.<\/span><\/p>\n

The group was formed by Bray Wyatt\u2019s brother, who the WWE Universe knows as Bo Dallas, or in this case, Uncle Howdy. The group consisted of Nikki Cross, Erik Rowan, Dexter Lumis, Joe Gacy, and Uncle Howdy. In this case, they were the rest of Wyatt’s family. There were rumors of Alexa Bliss being the sixth member of the Wyatt Sicks, but due to injuries in the group and her strong solo career, those plans never came into fruition.<\/span><\/p>\n

It also seems that injuries played a big role in the tag team’s plans. The WWE heavily promoted them with weekly vignettes as they carried on Bray Wyatt\u2019s persona. However, due to injuries in the group at various times, they weren\u2019t able to perform as consistently, and their plans eventually fell through the cracks<\/a>.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The Continuation in Alexa Bliss<\/span><\/h2>\n

Ever since 2020, Alexa Bliss has been aligned with Bray Wyatt. Even though he is not here physically, she is still teamed up with him. Bliss is one of the few weekly reminders of Wyatt that we will see on television.<\/span><\/p>\n

She still uses the gimmick that she had when she first began working with him nearly six years ago, but less scary. This shows how important he is to her: Bliss has always been successful in the business and could simply return to a previous gimmick, but instead, she would rather stay alongside her doll, Lilly, and pay homage to her time with Bray Wyatt.<\/span><\/p>\n
