It will also be the first time that Italy will have a WWE PLE. From what the WWE Universe knows so far, Cody Rhodes will be defending his Undisputed WWE Championship against the <a href=\"https:\/\/lastwordonsports.com\/prowrestling\/2026\/05\/17\/who-jumps-next-from-wwe-raw-to-smackdown\/\" target=\"_self\">number one contender, Gunther<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>This new PLE looks promising for a possible match card. Although WWE now follows a five-match formula for most of their PLE&#8217;s, WWE can move to a different approach by promoting seven matches. Regardless of WWE having more or fewer matches, here are some possible matches that should take place at WWE Clash in Italy.<\/p>\n<h2>#1) Seth Rollins &amp; The Street Profits vs. The Vision<\/h2>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"The Street Profits RETURN to back up Seth Rollins against The Vision: Raw highlights, April 20, 2026\" width=\"640\" height=\"360\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/JsS8v6EMkR8?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>The rivalry between Seth Rollins and Bron Breakker escalated at WrestleMania. Breakker made his return from injury at the event by costing Rollins his match against Gunther.<\/p>\n<p>With Breakker and the rest of The Vision taking advantage of the number&#8217;s game on Rollins, The Street Profits made a shocking return on RAW by helping to even the odds. Due to Rollins and The Street Profits, it&#8217;s been difficult as of late to overcome The Vision. Rollins lost to Breakker at Backlash, giving The Vision more momentum.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>What RAW General Manager Adam Pearce could do is book Rollins and The Street Profits against The Vision at Clash In Italy. To add more spice by making it a no-disqualification match.<\/p>\n<p>This upcoming weekend at Saturday Night&#8217;s Main Event, Logan Paul and Austin Theory of The Vision will defend their tag team titles against The Street Profits. <a href=\"http:\/\/The Street Profits &amp; Joe Hendry def. The Vision thanks to Seth Rollins: Raw highlights, May 11, 2026\" target=\"_self\">Maybe Rollins can interfere and aid The Street Profits<\/a> to become champions, thus earning their trust. While it&#8217;s still ambiguous as to whether Williams is still a heel or a massive babyface, the fans are now heavily behind him. Although Williams is cheered to the moon, he still pulls heel tactics such as having Lil Yachty assist him in his matches and refusing to hold open challenges.<\/p>\n<p style=\"margin: 0px; padding: 0px;\">If WWE wants to pull the trigger on turning Williams into a babyface, they need to have him perform actions that a babyface would. One way to turn Williams is to have him reinstate the U.S. Open Challenges. That would be the perfect way to set up a match between Carmelo Hayes and Williams. There is also a story between the two.<\/p>\n<p>In fact, Williams was the one who caused <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=ppEECv9NH0I\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Hayes to lose the U.S. title<\/a> in the first place. Hayes also made it clear on this past SmackDown that he plans to regain the United States gold. At first, she was in a feud against SmackDown&#8217;s newest group, Fatal Influence. Now, she had Cargill breathing down her neck once again, Ripley is more focused than ever.<\/p>\n<p>At Saturday Night&#8217;s Main Event, Ripley will team up with Alexa Bliss and Charlotte Flair to take on Cargill, Michin, and B-Fab. To build momentum for Cargill, her team should pick up the win in her <a href=\"https:\/\/lastwordonsports.com\/prowrestling\/2026\/05\/15\/wwe-clash-in-italy-sanctions-wwe-womens-title-match-on-wwe-smackdown\/\" target=\"_self\">potential rematch against Ripley<\/a> at Clash in Italy. For the past few weeks, both men have been conducting their own open challenges. This could set up a match between the two. WWE can go with the idea of two men accepting challenges from one another with mutual respect. Tomorrow on RAW, Oba Femi will be seeking more challengers. There can be a backstage interaction where Femi and Penta encounter each other.<\/p>\n<p>The setup can continue at Saturday Night&#8217;s Main Event. <a href=\"https:\/\/lastwordonsports.com\/prowrestling\/2026\/05\/11\/wwe-saturday-nights-main-event-snme-xliv-adds-huge-intercontinental-title-match\/\" target=\"_self\">Penta will defend his Intercontinental Championship against Ethan Page<\/a>. If Penta retains, he can issue a challenge to anyone who is seeking to face him. Their Women&#8217;s World Championship Match at WrestleMania seemed promising to witness until both women suffered minor injuries. Vaquer was dealing with a small shoulder injury, while Morgan had a hematoma injury. This upcoming RAW would be the perfect time for Vaquer to appear. She can cost Morgan&#8217;s partners of The Judgment Day, Roxanne Perez and Raquel Rodriguez, their chance to become WWE Women&#8217;s Tag Team Champions.<\/p>\n<p>This possible outcome would be a form of retaliation to the interference at Vaquer&#8217;s expense during her title match with Morgan at WrestleMania.<\/p>\n<p>Morgan possibly wrestling at Clash in Italy would be huge for her, as she is of Italian descent. Reigns is highly likely to close the show by maybe defending the World Heavyweight Championship against Jacob Fatu. After Reigns picked up the win, Fatu made it personal by attacking him after the match, signaling their feud is not over yet.<\/p>\n<p>It got more personal the next night when Fatu attacked Reigns once again, as well as beating down The Usos. Initially, Reigns made it clear that Fatu is done with WWE. Instead, Fatu keeps targeting Reigns, and it seems that he won&#8217;t stop until he becomes champion. For their story to conclude, a stipulation should be involved. If Fatu wins, he becomes champion, whereas if Reigns wins, Fatu must fall in line and acknowledge him as The Tribal Chief.<\/p>\n<p>What matches do you think should take place at Clash in Italy?
