Jacob Fatu arrived in WWE two years ago with much anticipation and fanfare. Starting as part of Solo Sikoa\u2019s MFT, he\u2019s consistently been very successful in the ring while maintaining his intimidating disposition. He was WWE Tag Team Champion with Tama Tonga for 21 days and WWE United States Champion for 69 days. Last summer, he left MFT and decided to go on a solo run, which has included memorable matches with Cody Rhodes, Drew McIntyre, and Sikoa<\/a>. <\/span><\/p>\n

After Roman Reigns won<\/a> the WWE World Heavyweight Championship at WrestleMania: Vegas, he was his first competitor. After he was defeated at Backlash, he went on a rampage, choking him with the Tongan Death Grip. The following Monday on the May 11, 2026 episode of Monday Night Raw, he once again attacked him as well as the Usos. A rematch will happen at Clash in Italy on May 31. But will his frequent outbursts help him or hurt him?<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Jacob Fatu’s Rampages Show Off His True Character<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/h2>\n

When Reigns comes out to a lot of cheering, he asks one thing of the audience. He wants everyone to acknowledge him. But that\u2019s a problem when it comes to Jacob Fatu. He doesn\u2019t acknowledge anybody, instead following his own path. Sikoa didn\u2019t kick him out of MFT. He left on his own after betraying him at Money in the Bank, which so far has been a good decision. There\u2019s no one on the roster, even his own family, who tells him what to do.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

That\u2019s why his outbursts have been so successful. He\u2019s portrayed as this crazy man because he\u2019s had to fight many battles to get where he is today, both in character and in real life. That shows his passion for the business and working with his family. Reigns needs someone who will bring out his best<\/a> while being intimidating to him, in hopes that he loses. Jacob Fatu getting him scared could lead to him dropping the World Heavyweight Championship.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Being Mad Can Lead to Disastrous Decisions<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/h2>\n

When someone gets mad, they often do things that they don\u2019t normally do. Things can get out of control very quickly, leading to some terrible consequences. That\u2019s exactly what happened to Jacob Fatu in the past week. Instead of walking out of Backlash<\/a> and acknowledging Reigns on Raw, his meltdowns have led to the destruction of the ring, surrounding areas, and Reigns himself.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

He\u2019s\u00a0being called a danger because\u00a0he\u2019s\u00a0using the Tongan Death Grip, a move that is never casually used, and because he could seriously hurt someone if he\u00a0doesn\u2019t\u00a0cool down and control his emotions. Reigns\u00a0isn\u2019t\u00a0scared because he thinks he can take his title away from him.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

He\u2019s\u00a0scared because of what\u00a0he\u2019s\u00a0done to him already and what he can do in the future. It\u00a0wouldn\u2019t\u00a0be surprising if their next match\u00a0has\u00a0a stipulation attached to it. Fatu\u2019s outbursts,\u00a0if\u00a0he\u2019s\u00a0not extremely careful, can lead to some disastrous consequences more severe than just losing another championship match.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

What Will Jacob Fatu Do Before the Rematch Takes Place?<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/h2>\n

With less than three weeks until Clash in Italy, and two Monday Night Raws until then, the match will be made official in the next two weeks. That seems like a good thing, until people remember who Reigns\u2019 opponent will be. <\/span><\/p>\n

Jacob Fatu has caused a lot of destruction and made a lot of people angry in the past week. Raw General Manager Adam Pearce was tossed out of the ring by him on Saturday, something that he hasn\u2019t forgotten. He might attach the stipulation himself rather than Reigns if he\u2019s that mad.<\/span><\/p>\n

But Fatu\u2019s anger is justified to fans if they know his story.\u00a0He\u2019s\u00a0worked hard to get where he is, and to be dismissed by your own cousin\u00a0regarding\u00a0a championship match understandably makes him mad. He needs the World Heavyweight Championship because of all the time he put in\u00a0preparing\u00a0to make his mark with the company.\u00a0No matter if\u00a0it helps him or hurts him, Fatu\u2019s fiery passion will\u00a0make for\u00a0an exciting rematch with Reigns.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
