The show will be 4\/20 in Dorado, Puerto Rico, which is a weird place, since now everybody is running that building, when before, it was a territory for <strong>Championship Wrestling Association (CWA)<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>The big match-up for WWL is the rivalry for the WWL championship between the champion, <strong>BIG<\/strong> and the man who had stole the belt since the summer, <strong>Mecha Wolf 450<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>They are also pushing their big heel authority figure <strong>Manny Ferno<\/strong> and the stable Puro Macho, that consists of promising talent <strong>JC Navarro<\/strong>, <strong>Electro<\/strong>, <strong>PMS<\/strong> and <strong>Khris Diaz<\/strong>. The big babyfaces that they\u2019ll be <a href=\"http:\/\/lastwordonprowrestling.com\/2017\/10\/14\/mike-mendoza-wwe-tryout\/\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">pushing are <strong>Mike Mendoza<\/strong><\/a>, <strong>Vanilla Vargas<\/strong>, <strong>Mark Davidson<\/strong>, <strong>Roxxy<\/strong> and <strong>Westside<\/strong> <strong>Mafia<\/strong>. <strong>Boris Bilbraut<\/strong> (the real-life owner of WWL) and <strong>Moody Melendez<\/strong> (Booker) are more present in their vignettes, with them keeping a story about the moment <strong>Konnan<\/strong> had taken control of <strong>WWL<\/strong> and the repercussions that it brought to the promotion.<\/p>\n<h2><strong>WWC\u2019s Road to Camino A La Gloria<\/strong><\/h2>\n<figure id=\"attachment_16278\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-16278\" style=\"width: 660px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-16278\" src=\"https:\/\/lwosonprowrestling.ms.lastwordonsports.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/15\/2018\/03\/vlcsnap-error092-660x400.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"660\" height=\"400\" srcset=\"https:\/\/lastwordonsports.com\/prowrestling\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/15\/2018\/03\/vlcsnap-error092-660x400.png 660w, https:\/\/lastwordonsports.com\/prowrestling\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/15\/2018\/03\/vlcsnap-error092-660x400-300x182.png 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 660px) 100vw, 660px\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-16278\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Photo: WWC<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p><strong>World Wrestling Council<\/strong> has started firing on all cylinders in road to their Easter weekend two-night event <em><strong>Camino a la Gloria<\/strong><\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>The promotion announced that only <strong>WWE<\/strong> Superstar <strong>Primo<\/strong> <strong>Colon<\/strong> and former WWE Intercontinental and United States champion <strong>Carlito<\/strong>\u00a0will be on the island wrestling for those shows, with <strong>Orlando Colon (Epico)<\/strong> out with an injury. Former Universal Champion and <strong>IWA<\/strong> World Champion <strong>\u201cEl Le\u00f3n\u201d Apolo<\/strong> will also return to WWC.<\/p>\n<p>The big matchups for Saturday in the 3,000-seat building in Manati <a href=\"http:\/\/lastwordonprowrestling.com\/2018\/03\/26\/wwc-to-revive-the-television-championship\/\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">will be the battle royal for the returning WWC Television title<\/a> between <a href=\"http:\/\/lastwordonprowrestling.com\/2017\/07\/18\/ot-fernandez-bringing-back-glory-wwc-jr-title\/\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">OT Fernandez<\/a>, Bellito, Peter the Bad Romance, \u201cMan Beast\u201d Enyel, <strong>Anthony Roberts<\/strong>, <strong>El Comandante<\/strong> (Zcion) and <strong>Rikochet<\/strong>. The main event will be \u201cPrimo\u201d Colon challenging champion Ray Gonzalez for the WWC Universal Champion. Other matches are Carlito vs. <strong>Apolo<\/strong>, <strong>Lightning<\/strong> vs. <strong>Gilbert<\/strong>, <strong>Chicano<\/strong> defending the WWC Puerto Rican title against <strong>Mighty<\/strong> <strong>Ursus<\/strong>, plus\u00a0<strong>Thunder<\/strong> and <strong>Khaos &amp; Abbadon<\/strong> vs. <strong>La Revolucion<\/strong> in extreme rules match for the WWC World Tag Team titles.<\/p>\n<p>The second night will be on Mayaguez on 4\/1 with the main event being Ray Gonzalez vs Carlito (Carly Colon) for the WWC Universal Champion (if Ray wins on Saturday), Apolo vs Eddie \u201cPrimo\u201d Colon, La Revolucion (with Orlando Toledo) vs Khaos &amp; Abbadon (Juan Manuel Ortega) Thunder &amp; Lightning vs Chicano &amp; Gilbert, <strong>Xix Xavant<\/strong> vs Peter The Bad Romance, Mighty Ursus vs El Comandante and Enyel vs Ray Gonzalez Jr.<\/p>\n<h2><strong>Huge changes in CWA<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>CWA had their big show in Santurce after last week\u2019s press conference. The main event was the continuation of Mecha Wolf 450 vs. <strong>Star Roger<\/strong> series, this time around, with the help of WWL champion BIG, Roger getting de win.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Mecha Wolf 450 reacciona sobre Mr. Big y las injusticias hacia \u00e9l en Batalla Por El Oro\" width=\"640\" height=\"360\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/3Tx1rpFFbPw?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>The biggest thing that we got out of the show was <strong>Justin Dynamite<\/strong> finally winning the \u201cBatalla por el Oro\u201d which guarantees him a <strong>CWA<\/strong> championship shot. Justin, who recently had lost his CWA Puerto Rican title to <strong>Rodrigo Garcia<\/strong>, went with the logical decision to go for the biggest champion right now in Puerto Rico. Star Roger, <a href=\"http:\/\/lastwordonprowrestling.com\/2017\/08\/03\/puerto-ricos-top-prospect-part-1-justin-dynamite-2\/\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">threaten by the notion of the most popular wrestler in the promotion<\/a>, betray Justin Dynamite and left him al bloody up in the ring with the help of General Manager <strong>David Estilo<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"CWA Batalla Por El Oro: Sensational Star Roger TRAICIONA a Justin Dynamite\" width=\"640\" height=\"360\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/Qu-Qlp8dHOg?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>Now with Roger heel, the fans will have a motive to cheer for Justin Dyanmite and to end Star Roger\u2019s 400-plus days reign. This is something that CWA had planned since autumn, when Roger was building his great championship record and Justin was gaining traction as the best talent in CWA.<\/p>\n<h2><strong>Florida\u2019s proliferation of Puerto Rican wrestling <\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>The proliferation of wrestling promotions with Puerto Rican influence keep adding up this spring. Now, there are three wrestling promotion of that thematic (NGCW, XWE and ICWA), and if you count <strong>Pro Wrestling 2.0<\/strong>, there are four wrestling promotions in the whole state of Florida with big Puerto Rican influence.<\/p>\n<p>This is good news for Caribbean stars looking to breakout in the states. Examples like Mecha Wolf 450 and now <strong>Angel Fashion<\/strong> have push the idea that wrestlers in the island can\u2019t just wrestle there, they need to expand their horizon.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_16279\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-16279\" style=\"width: 500px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-16279\" src=\"https:\/\/lwosonprowrestling.ms.lastwordonsports.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/15\/2018\/03\/60519_440266473105_594571_n-e1522358027310.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"500\" height=\"500\"><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-16279\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Photo; XWE<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>The new promotions are <strong>Xtreme Wrestling Entertainment<\/strong> (<strong>XWE<\/strong>) and <strong>International Championship Wrestling Association<\/strong>. <strong>ICWA\u00a0<\/strong>which will provide different type of products independently. XWE was a promotion on the west side of Puerto Rico. Mainly represented by indie talents and the first stomping ground of wrestlers like Mecha Wolf 450, XWE wants to provide that same climate in the state Florida. Wrestlers confirmed for the show are former WWC Puerto Rican champion and legend, Rico Suave (Jose Estrada Jr. in the WWF),<a href=\"http:\/\/lastwordonprowrestling.com\/2018\/02\/26\/holy-fashion-meet-puerto-ricos-newest-faction\/\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"> Holy Fashion\u2019s Sr. C<\/a>, <strong>Super Gladiator<\/strong>, among others.<\/p>\n<p>ICWA another idea, in which, they want to mix well renown wrestling Superstars from around the world like <strong>Alberto el Patron<\/strong>, <strong>Chris Adonis<\/strong> and Carlito with Puerto Rican talents like <strong>El<\/strong> <strong>Nazareno<\/strong>, <strong>Roxxy<\/strong> and <strong>Apolo<\/strong> <strong>Jr<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>It\u2019s unclear how this will play out in the long run, but, it seems that this is an opportunity to build bridges that can help grow talents from around the Caribbean.<\/p>\n<h2><strong>Other news from the Caribbean <\/strong><\/h2>\n<p><strong>&#8211; <\/strong>Ricky Banderas aka <strong>Mesias<\/strong>, will not wrestle for the <strong>Lucha Underground<\/strong> vs. Impact Wrestling show. The main event was <strong>Rocket<\/strong> <strong>\u00a9<\/strong> vs. <strong>Ariel<\/strong> <strong>Levy<\/strong> in a match that saw Levy do a complete 180 in his character.<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; Remember <strong>FWR<\/strong>? <strong>Florida Wrestling Revolution<\/strong> is completely out of the map and with a big legal threat from AAA. The promotion is facing $4,000 in debt to Mexican promotion AAA, because they never paid the assurance money to book Psycho Clown, Pagano, <strong>Hijo del Fantasma<\/strong>, <strong>Drago<\/strong> and <strong>Texano<\/strong> <strong>Jr<\/strong>. A weird note about this is that ICWA is running the same date and building that FWR was running when they had re-scheduled their show in January.<\/p>\n<p>https:\/\/twitter.com\/CKCW2016\/status\/977305657228582913<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; <strong>Cleveland Knights Championship<\/strong> <strong>Wr<\/strong><strong>estling<\/strong> will return on iPPV in May 20<sup>th<\/sup> in Parma, Ohio.
