The AEW Continental Championship is also on the line, with Jon Moxley defending against Bang Bang Gang’s Juice Robinson. To make up for her recent attitude to Kris Statlander, Hikaru Shida joins her against Mina Shirakawa and Harley Cameron. AEW World Trios Champion Orange Cassidy and AEW Men’s World Tag Team Champion Dax Harwood duke it out for a chance at the other’s respective title.

Where is AEW Dynamite/Collision Tonight?

AEW Dynamite/Collision airs live tonight, from the North Charleston Coliseum in North Charleston, South Carolina.

What Time is AEW Dynamite/Collision Tonight?

HBO Max and the TBS Network air AEW Dynamite/Collision live tonight at 8 PM ET.

AEW Dynamite/Collision Quick Results

AEW Continental Championship: Jon Moxley (c) defeated Juice Robinson

Double Jeopardy: Orange Cassidy defeated Dax Harwood

AEW International Championship: Kazuchika Okada (c) defeated Bryan Keith

Kris Statlander & Hikaru Shida defeated Harley Cameron & Mina Shirakawa

AEW Men’s World Championship: Darby Allin (c) defeated Kevin Knight

Speedball Mike Bailey defeated AR Fox

Jamie Hayter defeated Skye Blue

The Young Bucks & Bang Gang Gang defeated Death Riders & The Dogs

Results From AEW Dynamite/Collision Tonight (5/6/26)

Tony Schiavone paid tribute to Ted Turner

The late Ted Turner sadly passed away on May 6, 2026. Schiavone illustrated what Turner had done for professional wrestling, which paved the way for AEW’s time on TNT and TBS. He welcomed Sting to the ring. Sting recalled when Turner stuck true to keeping WCW on television, despite the doubts of other executives. The Icon then proceeded to advertise Darby Allin’s match later in the night, in addition to sharing kind words for Tony Khan. Ten bells saluted Turner to conclude the segment.

Jon Moxley (c) defeated Juice Robinson for the AEW Continental Championship

Robinson burst through Moxley’s offense, sending him outside and rocking him with a dive. In the chaos, Moxley’s cheek bled, getting worse as his challenger sent him through the timekeeper’s area. Moxley bit Robinson back and barraged him with punches to the gut. Despite Robinson’s momentum, Moxley cut it off with a lariat and a Cutter. Robinson swung a comeback with a hurricanrana and a lariat of his own. Moxley bit Robinson again, but he retaliated with an uppercut and a splash from the top. Robinson’s fate grew dire once more thanks to a rear-naked choke and powerbomb. Moxley squeezed the life out of Robinson with a prolonged chokehold to retain the Continental Championship.

(A gritty and worthy successor to their NJPW battles. That’s crazy to remember: Moxley had just ended his time as Dean Ambrose in WWE while Robinson was still making a name for himself in Japan. Now, I’d argue they’re becoming the best versions of themselves.)

Will Ospreay’s training session with the Death Riders

Ospreay strained to hold himself up amid Wheeler Yuta doing crunches on his back. Meanwhile, Jon Moxley went through gut training by enduring Marina Shafir’s punches. Moxley and Ospreay regained their breath while the former gave an inspirational speech to the latter.

Orange Cassidy defeated Dax Harwood

FTR and Stokely Hathaway were accompanied by Tomasso Ciampa, The Dogs, and RPG Vice. Cassidy was flanked by his partners, Kyle O’Reilly and Roderick Strong, the Young Bucks, Adam Copeland, and Christian Cage.

Cassidy withstood Harwood’s early attempts at dominance with a side headlock. Harwood responded by swinging Cassidy into the ring post. He distracted the referee while Hathaway and Ciampa yanked Cassidy’s arm into the post. Cassidy’s luck continued to worsen when flung outside and dropped on the commentary desk. Harwood tried to distract the referee with a ring bell, to which Cassidy caught on and struck him with a Beach Break. An Orange Punch threatened to knock out Harwood, yet he countered with a Ligerbomb. A second Orange Punch attempt proved fruitful (heh), but it was a Powerbomb that saw the pinfall of Harwood.

Post-match: Harwood’s allies tried to jump Cassidy, but his friends came to his aid as well. Copeland and Christian, in particular, got their licks in on RPG Vice.

(I like everyone involved in this match, but I’m really not feeling what’s being offered in this feud. Hopefully it doesn’t last too long.)

RUSH hype vignette

Tony Schiavone and Nigel McGuinness narrated a promo package highlighting RUSH’s in-ring style and importance to Mexican pro wrestling.

Chris Jericho joined the crowd

Tired of being assaulted by The Demand backstage, Jericho opted to venture through the sea of South Carolinians to the ring. He demanded (heh) that Ricochet join him in the ring. Ricochet said that while he enjoyed beating Jericho up every week, he wanted to end their feud. Taking a page out of Jericho’s book, Ricochet proposed a match at Double or Nothing, the veteran’s own Stadium Stampede match. Jericho accepted, promising that if he couldn’t find a partner, he’d take on The Demand by himself. He proceeded to lay them out singlehandedly. Toa Liona and Bishop Kaun recovered to stomp him out. Bobby Lashley, MVP, and Shelton Benjamin rushed to his side, chasing the trio off.

Mina Shirakawa encouraged Harley Cameron ahead of their match

Cameron answered Renee Paquette’s interview question with a dejected expression. Shirakawa yelled at her to find the spirit to start winning, and she tore Cameron’s shirt, expecting gear underneath. She did not; Cameron’s bra was exposed. Cameron fired back with an inspired promo. Paquette and Shirakawa suggested she change into some wrestling gear.

Kazuchika Okada (c) defeated Bryan Keith for the AEW International Championship

Keith managed to gain control early with a side headlock on the Rainmaker. He maintained heavy offense with boots to the face. Okada gathered enough time to dropkick Keith outside. A DDT on the floor spiked the challenger, much to the champion’s delight. Keith endured a knee strike and surprised Okada with a DDT in the ring. He hit another one on the champ outside. Okada plunged an elbow drop and followed moments later with a vertical dropkick. Keith replied with a powerbomb. Okada decisively finished his title defense with a Rainmaker.

Post-match: Okada said he may be the AEW International Champion (unlike Konosuke Takeshita), but he wanted more. Specifically, he wanted the AEW Men’s World Championship.

(Great showing by Keith, who was sporting a new look.)

Andrade El Idolo hype package

Tony Schiavone and Nigel McGuinness once again highlighted a promo video, this time on Idolo.

Speedball Mike Bailey praised Kevin Knight

Bailey shared some positive words for his JetSpeed partner. Knight thanked him and spoke confidently at what he believed his chances were to defeat AEW Men’s World Champion, Darby Allin.

The Opps continued to recruit Will Ospreay

Samoa Joe calmed down an eager Katsuyori Shibata before trying to appeal to Ospreay. He implied that with The Opps’s help, Ospreay could one day become champion for a long time. Joe also implied he used his connections to get HOOK an acting gig and that Anthony Bowens is already prospering under his tutelage. The hopeful mentor concluded that if Ospreay doesn’t accept at some point, his extended handshake would turn into a fist.

Hikaru Shida & Kris Statlander defeated Harley Cameron & Mina Shirakawa

Statlander largely dominated Shirakawa and sought a backslide pin. Shirakawa bounced back with a leg sweep and dropkick. Shida tagged in, but tagged back out when Cameron tagged in. The Aussie sent Statlander flying with a tornado hurricanrana. Shida gleefully picked apart Shirakawa outside, knee striking her on the apron. The two Japanese natives engaged in a stiff forearm exchange. Shirakawa blocked Shida’s Falcon Arrow with a Rolling Elbow. Statlander rebounded with a superplex from the top rope and a powerbomb. Cameron pummeled Shida with fists and struck a swinging neckbreaker. Cameron dropped Shida with a Backstabber. Shida, ignoring a mean stare from Statlander, won the match with a Falcon Arrow.

(Perhaps the longest match of the night so far? I liked it. Stiffness from everyone, and among the most versatile we’ve seen in Cameron yet.)

Swerve Strickland defined real power

Strickland outlined his plans for regaining power that he believed men like Bandido couldn’t embody in AEW.

BroDido responded to Swerve Strickland

Bandido expressed utmost confidence in facing Strickland. Brody King added that if Strickland messed with his friends, he wouldn’t stand for it.

Darby Allin (c) defeated Kevin Knight for the AEW Men’s World Championship

Allin tried to take control of Knight’s right arm, but he was too agile for his holds. Allin denied Knight a handshake, which was rude. Targeting the challenger’s legs, Allin toppled Knight to lock in a side headlock. Springboarding from the middle rope lent Allin enough speed to rock Knight with a Coffin Drop. The pair double-clotheslined each other, leaving both men struggling to get up. Knight flung Allin around with a hurricanrana and dropkick.

Allin torpedoed himself towards Knight into the commentary desk via tope suicida. Knight battered Allin with forearms on the desk. Gleefully, he vaulted himself in a springboard clothesline from the top rope to the desk, careening Allin onto the floor. Aiming for a Coffin Drop, Allin’s hopes were dashed by Knight hitting the rope. Knight managed to hit a Coast-to-Coast and a UFO Splash to an impressive degree. Like a Venus Flytrap, Allin snatched Knight in for a Guillotine Choke and Bodyscissors. Allin crushed Knight with two Coffin Drops to finish him off.

Post-match: Sting joined the duo and embraced Allin.

(Allin worked heel quite nicely in this match. He was quite disrespectful, giving fans a huge reason to root for Knight.)

MJF put something on the line for a Darby Allin rematch, Kazuchika Okada entered the scene

MJF, for the third week in a row, requested a rematch for the AEW Men’s World Championship. Allin reiterated he wouldn’t do that unless MJF put something on the line. MJF put several things on the line, but it wasn’t to Allin’s liking. Instead, Allin proposed that MJF put his hair on the line. MJF walked away when Allin wouldn’t retract his demand.

Okada met Allin in the ring, issuing a challenge for the May 13 episode of AEW Dynamite. The champ accepted these terms.

Dr. Michael Sampson cleared Will Ospreay

Though Ospreay performed at NJPW’s Wrestling Dontaku in Japan against Sampson’s wishes, he reported Ospreay’s health to be in good standing.

Speedball Mike Bailey defeated AR Fox

Fox and Bailey repeatedly wrestled to a standstill until the latter’s flurry of kicks left him exhausted on the outside. Bailey sprang off the top rope with a moonsault to keep his good fortunes going. Fox eluded some swift maneuvers by Bailey, failing to secure a Lo Mein Pain. Bailey gained the pinfall with his Ultima Weapon finisher.

(I’ll take whatever I can get of AR Fox having active competition. Bailey was great here too, felt almost like a heel.)

TBS Champion Willow Nightingale honored Ted Turner

Expressing her admiration for the late Turner and what he did for broadcasting pro wrestling, she reinforced herself to be a fighting champion.

PAC challenged Darby Allin

Backstage with his Death Rider pals, PAC recalled their previous rivalry, believing himself to be levels above the champion.

Jamie Hayter defeated Skye Blue

Hayter started her heavy offense with her boots. Blue returned the favor. The Brawling Bird sank to the apron courtesy of Blue’s Bulldog and found herself hurled into the barricade. Exploding into Blue in the corner, Hayter unleashed a Spinebuster to thunderous effect. Both women cracked their skulls in a simultaneous headbutt. The Sister of Sin fell victim to a top rope Hayterade to win the match.

(Blue was a great Mick Foley in this, making Hayter look all the more lethal.)

Don Callis announced that everyone should be afraid

Callis touted the success of his Family, especially Kazuchika Okada’s upcoming AEW Men’s World Championship Match on May 13. Konosuke Takeshita retorted that Okada should focus on his AEW International Championship. Andrade El Idolo asked Callis how he knew and walked away.

RUSH defeated Manny Lo

RUSH spared no time, kicking and tackling Lo. He made quick work with the Bull Horns.

Post-match: RUSH said if you mess with the bull, you get the horns.

Jack Perry’s message to Mark Davis

Luchasaurus drove Perry to a mountain. Perry narrated his climb, stating how he got where he was as the AEW National Champion. He concluded it by adding that if Davis didn’t like it, “then f**k you.”

Young Bucks (Matt & Nick Jackson), Bang Bang Gang (Colten Gunn, Austin Gunn, & Ace Austin) versus The Dogs (David Finlay & Clark Connors) & Death Riders (Wheeler Yuta, Daniel Garcia, & Claudio Castagnoli)

Dispatching Castagnoli at the commentary desk, the Bang Bang Gang and Bucks pulverized their foes’ skulls with fists in the corners. Nick dropkicked Catagnoli back down. Ace eluded Garcia’s grasp and kicked him out of the ring. Connors speared Ace through the ropes. The Gunns teamed up to hip toss Finlay; Ace clotheslined Yuta.

The Death Riders and The Dogs ran a train on Colten, culminating in a Giant Swing by Castagnoli. Colten threw clotheslines at Death Riders and The Dogs. Garcia maintained a Dragon Tamer on Colten, to no avail. Matt hurled Garcia about with a Northern Lights Suplex while DDT’ing The Dogs. The Bucks splashed on Finlay and Connors and started their Superkick Party on them and the Death Riders. Marina Shafir asked Garcia what was going on. The Gunns hit a 3:10 to Yuma on Castagnoli. Everyone kept throwing clotheslines at each other. Ace torpedoed a DDT onto Yuta for the pinfall.

(This is the PWG style match I hope the New Day have if they sign with AEW. Everyone fired off into such chaos that it was sensory overload in the best way.)

Final Thoughts

While not a crazy show by any means, these three hours did have some hot spots. Namely, the women’s matches, Darby Allin versus Kevin Knight, and Jon Moxley versus Juice Robinson, were the most exciting parts, in varying quality. The Ted Turner homages were wholesome and thoughtful.

I get that the other company is usually very shy about women’s matches most of the time, but the bar shouldn’t be so low that two women’s matches across three hours should feel like a horn-tooting moment. An evergreen mountain to climb, I suppose.

AEW Dynamite/Collision results and live updates from the North Charleston Coliseum in North Charleston, SC, tonight will be available throughout the show.
