There\u2019s a lot of talking points going around about WWE right now. One of those is Oba Femi for\u00a0<\/span>a very good<\/span>\u00a0reason. Since debuting on M<\/span>onday Night Raw at the start of the year, he has been unstoppable. Crushing guys like Johnny Gargano and the Viking Raiders led him to the biggest test of his career at WrestleMania: Vegas. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

He managed to pass that test and be<\/span>at Brock Lesnar in an epic match. Following that up with a simple statement the night after, fans were wondering what was\u00a0<\/span>next for him.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

On\u00a0<\/span>the April<\/span>\u00a027 Raw, he announced an open challenge<\/a> for any member of the men\u2019s locker room<\/span>. Grayson Waller<\/a>, wanting to prove himself, ended up answering\u00a0and ended up getting beat in quick fashion<\/span>.\u00a0<\/span>Will this invitation hinder his progression on the main\u00a0<\/span>roster<\/span>\u00a0or will it make him more intimidating and powerful?<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Femi Needs to Take Part in an Actual Feud<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/h2>\n

For the first couple of months on the main roster, Femi was\u00a0mainly used\u00a0in squash matches.\u00a0But when Lesnar wanted an opponent for WrestleMania, he answered the call. After many tense confrontations, they had a great match. <\/span><\/p>\n

Following that up with more open challenges\u00a0wouldn\u2019t\u00a0make much sense. Everyone knows what Femi can do, especially after his match with Lesnar.\u00a0Three to five minute\u00a0squash matches would halt his career growth. Getting into another feud\u00a0would test his opponent and potentially get them over as well.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Raw General Manager, Adam Pearce, is always watching, so a program with another heavyweight like Rusev or a fellow new roster addition like Ethan Page could potentially get him championship opportunities very soon. An open challenge sounds nice, but he needs to work with other wrestlers in a program to really get his main roster career going.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
