Reseda, California has been the faithful home to <strong>PWG<\/strong> for years now but tickets oversold and the decision was made to move the show to Broadway, Los Angeles. The former <b>V.I.P.<\/b>\u00a0<strong>Wrestling<\/strong> Heavyweight champion left <strong>Ring<\/strong> <strong>Of<\/strong> <strong>Honor<\/strong> <strong>Wrestling<\/strong> for a contract with <strong>EVOLVE<\/strong> <strong>Wrestling<\/strong> in January 2017. Since then Lee has become the <strong>WWN<\/strong> <strong>Live<\/strong>\u00a0Champion for EVOLVE, the hard work has been paying off this past year for Keith Lee. Keith Lee made it the PWG <em><strong>Battle<\/strong> <strong>Of<\/strong> <strong>Los<\/strong> <strong>Angeles<\/strong><\/em> finals last year and had a five-star match with <strong>Donovan<\/strong> <strong>Dijak<\/strong> in the same tournament rated by The Wrestling Observer. Next, Lee also challenges for the <strong>AAW<\/strong> <strong>Pro<\/strong> Heavyweight Championship on Match 31 at <em><strong>Path<\/strong> <strong>Of<\/strong><\/em> <em><strong>Redemption<\/strong><\/em> against ACH.<\/p>\n<p>https:\/\/twitter.com\/ryansatin\/status\/977438587242233862<\/p>\n<p>Weighing in at 330 pounds, Lee overpowered Chuck Taylor with Ground Zero to become the new PWG champion and Chuck Taylor got on the microphone afterwards to tell Lee to \u201cbe a better champion than I was.\u201d Taylor also had typical funny remarks as well after the big title change. \u201cDon\u2019t you guys read the internet? This guy is going to WWE. What are you cheering for!?\u201d Taylor is referring to <a href=\"https:\/\/lastwordonprowrestling.com\/2018\/03\/01\/next-nxt-class-feature-three-huge-indie-stars\/\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">the rumours that Keith Lee had interest from <\/a><strong>WWE <\/strong>this past month.\u00a0At 33 years old, Lee has become the oldest and heaviest champion in PWG history. In the prime of his career and getting better every major event, but could he be leaving PWG for WWE NXT like so many others? The future is incredibly bright no matter what path \u201cLimitless\u201d Lee chooses and he already knows NXT talent <strong>Ricochet<\/strong>, <strong>Lio<\/strong> <strong>Rush<\/strong>, <strong>Kyle<\/strong> <strong>O&#8217;Reilly<\/strong> and <strong>Donovan<\/strong> <strong>Dijak<\/strong> very well from previous encounters. For now, PWG has a monster fan favorite as a champion that has earned it and will continue to work even harder to retain the gold.
