For the second year in a row, WrestleMania will be making its way to Sin City. After the success of last year’s event, WWE decided to switch gears and bring the Grandest Stage of Them All back to Sin City. Naturally, WrestleMania is going to be held in Allegiant Stadium, giving WWE a chance to repeat its impressive attendance numbers from last year, which shouldn\u2019t be difficult when we look at the stacked card that will be filling out WrestleMania 42 Night One.<\/p>\n
Night One is filled with massive championship matches and several grudge matches that are going to define the careers of several wrestlers. Watching Night One of WrestleMania alone is going to get any wrestling fan excited, but let\u2019s look at some more specific reasons why you should be watching Night One of WrestleMania.<\/p>\n
Unsanctioned Matches<\/a> are vague gimmick matches that are essentially treated like a Street Fight. There isn\u2019t much to discern between the two, and thus, they travel in the same vein. Thankfully, this is not going to be the case when Drew McIntyre and Jacob Fatu step into the ring on Night One. The feud between the two has been at a boiling point for weeks, with the two men engaging in some brutal battles.<\/p>\n There hasn\u2019t been much talking between Fatu and McIntyre, with the men preferring to let their physicality do the talking. They have been tearing up every arena that they have stepped into, bringing very personal feelings to this program.<\/p>\n It has gotten to the point that anything less than complete violence will be a massive letdown for this match. There is no chance this will happen, as both men will push the intensity as far as they can, and the contest could get uncomfortable near the end.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n The program between A.J. Lee and Becky Lynch<\/a> has been months in the making. The issues between these two greats have continued from last year, and each showdown has increased in quality. The wrestling world knew that these two women were destined for a WrestleMania encounter, and they have the potential to steal the show on WrestleMania Saturday.<\/p>\n We know that the backstory is there, with Lynch and Lee having some great promo battles over the past few weeks. They have had no issue getting personal by bringing up one another\u2019s families. What might surprise is how well this match will be presented.<\/p>\n In each match since her return, A.J. Lee has gained more confidence, showing off more skill each time. There is no doubt that her polish has returned, and Becky Lynch and she will save the best for last in their Intercontinental Championship Match.<\/p>\n When Liv Morgan won the Women\u2019s Royal Rumble<\/a>, we knew it was a matter of time before she and the Women\u2019s World Champion crossed paths. She and Stephanie Vaquer are the big money program on Raw, and WWE has done a great job of building tension between these two women.<\/p>\n Each Raw segment has been fantastic, leaning into the strengths of each woman. This match has that big fight feel and should be one of the best contests on WrestleMania Night One.<\/p>\n As far as quality goes, this is going to be a great one. Liv Morgan and Stephanie Vaquer are in their prime and have done nothing but churn out great match after great match. They represent two sides of the same coin, and their chemistry has shone through in everything they have done.<\/p>\n Vaquer and Morgan have similar styles and should mesh very well. This Women\u2019s World Championship Match will take its place among the WrestleMania greats after Night One has come to a close.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n One of the best parts of WrestleMania is seeing what WWE has done with its staging area. In the 41-year history of WrestleMania, we have seen some incredible stages that wow the audience. Having a great backdrop for the wrestlers to make their entrance against gives the night that grandiose feeling that WWE loves. It also helps to set the show apart from WrestleMania’s past.<\/p>\n Watching WrestleMania Night One, every fan will be waiting to see what the staging area will look like. We can hope that WWE will not repeat the same set pieces as last year’s show. They are always up to the task of presenting a unique staging area, and with \u2018Mania being in Las Vegas, they have plenty of inspiration to work with. Seeing a stage worthy of WrestleMania is worth tuning into Night One.<\/p>\n Gunther taking on Seth Rollins<\/a> has only recently been announced, but it has the potential to fly under everyone\u2019s radar. It’s not the matchup that the office may have wanted, and it’s going to be hard to put a ton of build behind this match in only a few weeks. That still will not stand in the way of two of the best wrestlers on the planet turning in an all-time performance.<\/p>\n It has been a while since these two men faced one another, which will help to sell the freshness of this match. Paul Heyman will naturally have something to do with the contest, and it could be interesting to see how he and the Ring General coexist.<\/p>\n This won\u2019t be a match with much history, just two professional wrestlers putting their pride on the line to see who is the best on their brand. Neither man can afford to suffer a WrestleMania loss, and it will be interesting to see where WWE goes with this.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n The Women\u2019s Tag Team Championship<\/a> doesn\u2019t have the most impressive history at WrestleMania. There haven\u2019t been many great matches, with most of them being thrown together to get more bodies on the card. This year, WWE has put thought into the build surrounding the Women\u2019s Tag straps.<\/p>\n They have done a great job of interweaving the four teams and creating real drama between them. It makes sense to have the four teams going to battle at WrestleMania.<\/p>\n As far as match quality goes, if given enough time, these women will knock it out of the park. Six of the women involved are former World Champions, and those who haven\u2019t won the big one are destined to. This is the perfect blend of past, current, and future stars of World Wrestling Entertainment.<\/p>\n It’s exciting to think about the possibilities of entering this fatal four-way match.
