The AEW wrestler opened up about growing up loving wrestling and the sacrifices that he made for his career. <\/span>Yet the one thing that will interest fans, besides The Violent Artist’s discussion of becoming a pro wrestler to tapping out Jon Moxley at AEW Full Gear, is O’Reilly’s teased return.<\/p>\n

Side-lined, reportedly, with a neck injury, O’Reilly was unable to compete in last year’s AEW Continental Classic. Bryan Alvarez on Wrestling Observer Live<\/a><\/span> claimed that the injury differed from O’Reilly’s previous neck injury. There was also speculation that O’Reilly may have broken his arm. Post-match, a doctor checked this after a vicious post-match assault by Moxley. Officially, details of the injury were not made public. O’Reilly confirmed himself later to be suffering from a bulging neck disc injury and arm fracture, which sidelined him from in-ring action.<\/p>\n
