In an AEW Revolution rematch, the new AEW Women’s World Tag Team Champions, Divine Dominion, have granted the Babes of Wrath their rematch. Will pride come before the fall?

Elsewhere, Ace Austin vs. Tommaso Ciampa. Given the dark path The Psycho Killer has chosen since losing the TNT Championship and turning heel on Mark Briscoe, this will be a tough night for Austin. Yet the former TNA World Tag Team champion is full of surprises. With tricks and moves hidden in places like an expert card shark, it won’t be so one-sided.

With more graphics and matches likely to be announced before Saturday, check back for the latest updates. Speculating, do not be surprised to see the AEW World Tag Team champions, FTR, follow up with Orange Cassidy and Roderick Strong after their altercation on Wednesday night. Or the return of The Demand, or potentially, at least one other member/ team of the Don Callis Family in action.

AEW Women’s World Tag Team Championship

On Dynamite, “Colossal” Lena Kross and “Megasus” Megan Bayne informed those of us eager to see the Babes of Wrath get their rematch after their loss at AEW Revolution that greed and hubris cost the former champions. Willow Nightingale’s decision to defend two titles in one night was biting off more than she could chew. If the implication is that the Babe with the Power choked, there are no such obstacles this week.

Rested and recollected, Nightingale and Harley Cameron have no disadvantages, but also no excuses. For Harley Cameron, especially, a woman who makes every minute count, of the numerous times she has faced Megan Bayne over the past year, there are only a handful of times the Australian has been victorious over the Greek Goddess. It has always been in a team competition.

Yet as we’ve seen, Lena Kross isn’t Penelope Ford as big, powerful, and skilled as the Megasus. The new AEW Women’s World Tag Team champions are likely not just treating this match as a defence. This is a statement-making moment. One that will try to put the whole division on notice. Who could stop them? Well, I’ve predicted a potential long reign for the Dominion, to around All In London at least…

AEW International Championship

Saturday, The Jet, Kevin Knight, will get another chance at singles gold. Like JetSpeed partner Mike Bailey, who, a few Dynamites ago, got his chance at the TNT Championship, Knight gets a long-awaited shot at the AEW International Championship. Just like Bailey surprising Kyle Fletcher, the Knight scored an impressive victory over the Rainmaker, Kazuchika Okada, during the Continental Classic. But will the outcome be the same for the Jet as it was for Speedball?

This is the third singles encounter between the two men. One a piece, yet there is an asterisk in the records with Okada’s first victory. There was assistance from a pre-match RUSH attack. This version of The Jet, beyond being a two-time AEW World Trios champion, has proven himself to be a future main eventer. Okada cannot coast this time.

Expect this to be the banger of the night. But also, does this signal the feud over the AEW Trios Championships is far from over?
