Over the last couple of weeks, the two have been going back and forth with the Usos yelling at Punk as well. Reigns would be the dominant workhorse and Punk would be the guy that just showed up, thanks to their title reign and injury. But Punk has been champion since last November, and Reigns won the Men’s Royal Rumble after months away. What’s significant is that Punk isn’t shying away from calling Reigns a part-timer.

He knows Reigns goes months without stepping in the ring, which is why he’s antagonizing the Usos. He wants them to fight the battles so he can get an easy win at WrestleMania. But he’s finding out that family isn’t just a word to them. It isn’t a loose term, but in fact a commitment to defending a blood relative that’s getting picked on. The Usos are gladly helping Reigns because he’s their cousin, no matter what’s happened in the past.

The Usos Know What He Can Do When He’s Angry

Many fans online have said the same thing about Reigns for years. He hasn’t apologized to the Usos for yelling at them and mistreating them while they were in the Bloodline. It’s pretty much been an unspoken observation for all of Reigns’ opponents and the Usos’ friends since then. However, Punk isn’t afraid to speak his mind. He brought that up when the Usos demanded an apology for insulting Reigns’ father and their uncle. A nice person would be happy that they would stick up for them in a time of need.

<smartframe-embed class="smartframe_wp_element" customer-id="b0c95bc04383cef69c6b47df872135cf" image-id="WmOBNoz5rxwv" style="width: 100%; display: inline-flex; max-width: 3000px; aspect-ratio: 3000/2000;" ></smartframe-embed>

However, things will probably be very predictable next Monday. Instead of being thankful, Reigns will yell at them for interfering in his business. He hasn’t changed his behavior at all since returning after losing the Undisputed WWE Championship. Both men leave the Bloodline, the Bloodline Civil War, and reunite afterwards. They’ve probably realized that he is right. Not once has he apologized for treating them poorly. However, Punk has crossed the line so many times over the past couple of weeks that they would want to deal with it later.

Reigns told them to stand down, but they attacked Punk anyway. They know how he is, but they still decided to attack a person who insulted him. However, the same old Reigns could come out next Monday. Instead of saying thanks for everything, there’s a good chance they’ll be yelled at.

He won’t be grateful; instead, he’ll think they’re in his way.
