NXT Vengeance Day<\/a> was filled with action, emotion, and great wrestling. However,\u00a0a big\u00a0part of the show\u00a0didn\u2019t\u00a0happen in a match. NXT General Manager Robert Stone had his own segment<\/a>\u00a0regarding\u00a0the NXT Women\u2019s Championship. Current champion Jacy Jayne\u00a0faced\u00a0both Sol Ruca and Zaria in consecutive weeks.\u00a0Zaria\u2019s opportunity\u00a0came after she\u00a0betrayed Ruca to cost her the title.\u00a0Jayne came out first, followed by Zaria. <\/span><\/p>\n

She said that she was tired of being in the middle of their intense breakup. Zaria said that Ruca was the one who held her down, prompting Ruca to come out as well. The three women argued before they started fighting each other. In an effort to restore order, Stone announced a triple threat match on the March 17, 2026, episode of NXT. Which woman will walk out of Houston as NXT Women\u2019s Champion?<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Jayne Will Easily Retain the Title<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/h2>\n

Jayne has had great runs as NXT Women\u2019s Champion. She won the title back at NXT Gold Rush from Tatum Paxley, who ended her 150-day reign and held it for 24 days. Combined, she has held the title for over 250 days. She has defeated women such as Jordynne Grace, Lola Vice, and Stephanie Vaquer, whom she took the title from to begin her first run. Given her opponents, she doesn\u2019t have to do much to retain. <\/span><\/p>\n

In a triple threat match, anyone can take the pin. With Zaria and Ruca still at odds, they\u2019ll probably fight each other more than Jayne. She can easily pin one of them when they\u2019re not paying attention to her and retain the championship. The structure of the match and the competitors are definite signs that next Tuesday\u2019s match will be an easy victory for her.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Ruca Will Become the New Champion<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/h2>\n

Ruca and Zaria are both challenging Jayne for the NXT Women\u2019s Championship. However, Ruca has the slight advantage over Zaria to\u00a0become NXT Women\u2019s Champion\u00a0if Jayne loses.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

She has prior championship experience, being the Speed Champion for 200 days and the NXT Women\u2019s North American Champion for 189 days. She vacated the Speed Championship due to injury<\/a>. Zaria fought on her behalf to reclaim the Women\u2019s North American Championship due to the same injury, but she lost to Blake Monroe.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Her loss to Monroe may have looked accidental at the time. But knowing her true feelings, there\u2019s some evidence that she purposely cost Ruca the title. Not only that, but Ruca lost in four seconds to Jayne. She has major issues with the other women in the triple threat match. Her championship experience and feelings towards Jayne and Ruca make a compelling case for her to be champion.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Zaria Will Be the Woman Left Standing<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/h2>\n

When Zaria debuted in NXT in October 2024, there was a lot of hype surrounding her. She was a star on the Australian independent circuit, with many fans excited for her to come to NXT. However, she has spent most of her time in a tag team with Ruca. That has led her to not much success, which she basically told Jayne on Saturday.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0All of\u00a0her time\u00a0was wasted\u00a0with Ruca instead of chasing singles achievements.\u00a0That\u2019s\u00a0why her winning\u00a0is\u00a0a real possibility.\u00a0She has been\u00a0with Ruca\u00a0for over a year, letting big opportunities pass her by. <\/span><\/p>\n

Becoming NXT Women\u2019s Champion will finally show everyone that she can be a singles star in NXT. She wants to beat Jayne. She\u2019s the current champion, and Ruca, because she has cost her so much in her career already. If she stays motivated, she could become a champion next Tuesday.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Which Woman Will Be Champion?<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/h2>\n

With Stand & Deliver in less than four weeks, everyone will be competing for a spot on the card. Jayne wants to keep her spot. Doing so requires her to stay WWE Women\u2019s Champion. However, that will be easier said than done. She has a tough task ahead of her, as she\u2019ll be competing in a triple threat match for the title. <\/span><\/p>\n

Her opponents, Sol Ruca and Zaria, have just been through a nasty breakup<\/a>\u00a0that\u2019s\u00a0been\u00a0anticipated\u00a0for a while now. A\u00a0retention\u00a0could be as\u00a0simple\u00a0as letting them fight each other and then pinning one of them. <\/span><\/p>\n

However, their motivations to become champions could cost her the title. Ruca wants to be a champion again, and Zaria wants her first title in WWE.
