Her son suffered from a rare form of Muscular Dystrophy but was a die hard wrestling fan. So she wanted him to get a chance to meet his hero, John Cena, the all-time leader in Make A Wish visits. In only a few days, the post went viral.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_15451\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-15451\" style=\"width: 621px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-large wp-image-15451\" src=\"https:\/\/lwosonprowrestling.ms.lastwordonsports.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/15\/2018\/03\/DXsTkXuWkAAxeQD-621x1024.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"621\" height=\"1024\"><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-15451\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Photo: Facebook<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Enter Windsor&#8217;s own Scott D&#8217;Amore, the Executive Vice President of Impact Wrestling, and part of Impact Wrestling&#8217;s resurgence in the past few months. <a href=\"https:\/\/windsor.ctvnews.ca\/video?clipId=1344751\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">In an interview with <strong>CTV News Windsor<\/strong><\/a>, it was revealed that upon learning of Michael&#8217;s story, he called in a few favours and got backstage tickets for Michael and his family for next Monday&#8217;s <em><strong>Raw<\/strong><\/em>, in order to get a chance to meet up with John Cena. \u00a0As D&#8217;Amore told CTV News,\u00a0&#8220;(w)e get an opportunity &#8211; and sometimes we forget this in our industry of entertainers &#8211; we get an opportunity to not just do something that we love but also touch people&#8217;s lives.&#8221; Ginnasio was also in attendance at this past Saturday&#8217;s Impact Wrestling and BCW co-production for the Impact One <em><strong>Night Only: March Breakdown<\/strong><\/em> taping in Michael&#8217;s hometown of Windsor.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_15450\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-15450\" style=\"width: 600px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-15450\" src=\"https:\/\/lwosonprowrestling.ms.lastwordonsports.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/15\/2018\/03\/Screen-Shot-2018-03-09-at-8.07.49-PM-e1520645206110.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"600\" height=\"431\"><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-15450\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Photo: CTV News Windsor<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/windsor.ctvnews.ca\/video?clipId=1344751\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">CTV News Windsor<\/a> reached out to the WWE, who was going to be in Detroit, Michigan this coming Monday for <em><strong>Monday Night Raw<\/strong><\/em> (Windsor is only five minutes across the Detroit River), and while the WWE acknowledged that Michael Ginnasio indeed qualified for the WWE&#8217;s Make A Wish program, that he was already booked that night for a Wish granting, but that they would put him in the planner for the next time they came through Detroit.
