One of these bouts pits MJF against upcoming opponent Hangman Adam Page’s trios teammate, Kevin Knight. The other sees the Toxic Spider Thekla against La Mera Mera, Thunder Rosa, in her in-ring return. Following a challenge set during AEW’s stay in Brisbane, Australia, The Iinspiration make their AEW TV debut against the Brawling Birds.

Where is AEW Dynamite Tonight?

AEW Dynamite airs live tonight, from the Don Haskins Center in El Paso, TX.

What Time is AEW Dynamite Tonight?

HBO Max and the TBS Network air AEW Dynamite live tonight at 8 PM ET.

AEW Dynamite Quick Results

AEW Men’s World Championship: MJF (c) defeated Kevin Knight

Darby Allin & Orange Cassidy defeated The Dogs

The Brawling Birds defeated The Iinspiration

Hangman Adam Page defeated Marty Snow

Jon Moxley defeated Hechicero

AEW Women’s World Championship: Thekla (c) defeated Thudner Rosa

AEW World Trios Championship: Don Callis Family defeated Jet Set Rodeo (c)

AEW Dynamite Tonight (3/4/26)

MJF (c) defeated Kevin Knight for the AEW Men’s World Championship

MJF paintbrushed Knight before the bell and then flung him over his shoulder via arm drag. Knight returned the favor. He kept returning to the well of shoulder tackles prior to another armdrag. In the corner, Knight pummeled the champion to a pulp. MJF narrowly avoided Knight’s patented UFO Splash. Though he visibly wore down MJF, Knight’s hubris proved to be folly as MJF gained just enough seconds to slam him. A flying forearm reinserted the challenger back in control.

It may have taken him a while, but Knight eventually punctuated a UFO Splash to the champ’s ribs. MJF sought a momentary retreat, not anticipating Knight to soar onto him over the top rope. Knight’s agility granted him massive air to dodge MJF’s Heatseeker. In a frantic exchange, Knight and MJF exchanged pin attempts, resulting in the spry former thrust-kicking the Long Island native. Sensing another UFO Splash on the horizon, MJF quickly acted, striking the ropes to land Knight in an uncomfortable position on the turnbuckle. Knight recovered with a Coast-to-Coast and a UFO Splash. While Knight wasn’t looking, MJF kicked Referee Bryce Remsburg into the ropes, choking him. Another UFO Splash would ultimately once MJF’s knees rose to meet him. A Heatseeker sent the challenger packing.

Post-match: MJF steadied himself to blast Knight with his title. Hangman Adam Page and Speedball Mike Bailey caught him off guard, causing him to scurry away.

(I’m glad I was wrong about MJF becoming Men’s World Champ. He’s elevated pretty much everyone who’s come up to challenge him for the belt.)

Orange Cassidy & Darby Allin defeated The Dogs (Gabe Kidd & Clark Connors)

The Dogs promptly ambushed their opponents mid-entrance. Connors speared Allin into a barricade and Cassidy through the timekeeper’s table. The Dogs isolated Allin, with Kidd shoving him off the top rope and onto the floor. Connors unsheathed his belt to whip Allin, but Referee Paul Turner caught him red-handed. Distracted, Turner didn’t see Allin remove his own belt to do the same to Connors. Allin teased The Dogs with his soft kicks until he exploded into action. Kidd saved Connors from Cassidy’s Beach Break-induced pin attempt. Kidd ate a Stundog Millionaire + Canadian Destroyer combination from the opposition. Allin’s signature Coffin Drop flattened Kidd so that Cassidy’s Orange Punch comfortably put Connors away for the pinfall.

Post-match: David Finlay whalloped Cassidy and Allin with a shillelagh. Together, he joined Kidd and Connors in assaulting Allin and Cassidy.

(I’m not sure why they branded Gabe Kidd and Clark Connors as The Dogs rather than War Dogs, probably because of the news of there being an actual war started recently. That aside, exciting match for sure. Plus, Finlay joining his NJPW buddies adds some interesting developments given his contract talks.)

Brawling Birds (Jamie Hayter & Alex Windsor) defeated The Iinspiration (Jessie McKay & Cassie Lee)

The Iinspiration pulled a Jey Uso and had their music replay after their entrance was already over. The Birds flew to them, pecking at them with unforgiving chops. They smashed The Iinspiration into each other, and together, they stacked McKay and Lee on top of one another and earned the pinfall.

(Tony Khan clearly didn’t bring The Iinspiration over to AEW for wrestling ability, but their character. Both the pre-match promo and the in-ring emphasized that to be their true strength, and honestly, I feel the roster could use more character to balance the workhorses.)

Hangman Adam Page defeated Marty Snow

Page delivered a big boot and a Buckshot Lariat to quickly melt Snow for the pinfall.

Post-match: Page delivered a scathing promo on MJF and demanded he show up to the ring. MJF teased him, leaving just enough time for Kyle Fletcher, Kazuchika Okada, and Mark Davis to clobber his Revolution challenger. Speedball Mike Bailey and Kevin Knight rescued Page from the beatdown. Don Callis took to the microphone to position his Family against the World Trios Champions later in the evening, featuring Okada, Fletcher, and Davis.

(Page taking on someone named Marty after that incident in January was kind of wild. But the seconds-long destruction of Snow was hilarious.)

FTR and Young Bucks backstage meeting

Speaking at a table, FTR declared their favorable history compared to the Young Bucks. The Bucks didn’t care, citing Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler’s attack on their family. This heavily echoed the vibes of their earlier feud during the COVID-19 lockdown. Renee Paquette attempted to cool off the heated exchange, but FTR grew so irate that they left, but not without punching Brandon Cutler.

Jon Moxley defeated Hechicero

Moxley gravitated Hechicero onto the mat, warranting the latter to pinpoint the former’s legs. Slithering in a Kimura Lock, Moxley’s hopes were dashed as Hechicero wriggled out to twist his neck. Hechicero rained down fists in the corner, giving Moxley ample opportunity to catch a punch and bite down on the hand. A savage elbow drop from Hechicero lent him a comeback against the Death Rider. Moxley plucked him from the top rope, struggling to gain control until he could deploy a Cutter. With enough time, Moxley managed a Rear-Naked Choke. Hechicero transitioned it into one of his own, but instead suffered a juji-gatame.

Hechicero lured Moxley in for a lariat attempt, instead dropping-kicking him. Moxley pulled out a haymaker at the last minute to persevere. Securing Moxley’s shoulders between his legs, Hechicero spun the Death Rider around in circles across the ring. Boldly accepting impending defeat with middle fingers, Hechicero took the pinfall after a Running Knee and Death Rider put him out.

Post-match: Konosuke Takeshia saw off Moxley as he came to his ally’s aid.

(Moxley, working from underneath a technical wizard as the brawler he is, made this bout a thrill ride.)

Brody King barked at Swerve Strickland and Prince Nana

King stormed to the ring and demanded that Strickland come to the ring. Nana tried to dissuade him, but King was unmoved. Unfortunately for King, Strickland surprised him from behind, eventually choking him out with a steel chain. Strickland told the purple-faced King he’d see him at AEW Revolution.

Wheeler Yuta wasn’t wallowing in misery

Mourning his newly bald state, Yuta praised the Death Riders for keeping his spirits lifted. Jon Moxley added that no team in AEW was like the Death Riders. He addressed Konosuke Takeshita, thrilled to have no time limits placed on their match.

Thekla (c) defeated Thunder Rosa for the AEW Women’s World Championship

Rosa stiffly thudded Thekla’s chest in the corner and against the barricade despite the champ’s attempts to gain a moment of respite. She dazed Thekla with a fan-assisted Flying Crossbody and a knee onto the ropes. Thekla returned fire with a boot and a double stomp. On the ropes, she used her legs to squeeze the challenger’s brain with utmost core strength. Callously slapping Rosa’s face earned Thekla a stunner from a madly smiling La Mera Mera.

Rosa employed a dropkick and Northern Lights Suplex to gain a smattering of control. On the top rope, the flexible Thekla suplexed Rosa to the mat below. Spearing through Rosa, Thekla mocked Rosa with a faux-pin attempt as she brought her head up, only to miss her stomp. Rosa retorted with a Cutter. The challenger landed a Thunder Cutter and tearfully mourned a 2-count pin. Enraged, she threw too much into a clothesline; Thekla ducked it and speared Rosa. With one more stomp, Thekla gloatingly snatched the pinfall victory.

Post-match: Kris Statlander headed off Sisters of Sin from a post-match beatdown on Rosa. Security temporarily got in the way. Stat powered through them, seeing Thekla harming Rosa anyway. Now in the ring, Stat watched as Thekla gleefully fled.

(Rosa had a fantastic return, and Thekla got a notch in her belt against a former champ and stalwart piece of the AEW roster.)

Jack Perry vowed to finish the war against Ricochet

Perry expressed his resentment toward The Demand, especially Ricochet. The AEW National Champion responded in his separate vignette that he’d put Perry back down again.

Tommaso Ciampa promised to earn a TNT Championship rematch

Ciampa, interviewed by Renee Paquette, understood that he would have to earn enough wins to become the TNT Champion again. Paquette asked him about his relationship with Mark Briscoe before FTR’s music interrupted. Dax Harwood welcomed Ciampa, offering him a spot alongside himself, Cash Wheeler, and Stokely Hathaway. Ciampa responded that he still hated FTR as he did back in his DIY days in WWE’s NXT. Hathaway spoke up, but Ciampa told him to be quiet, to Harwood’s chagrin. Harwood and Ciampa had a brief scuffle before they regained composure—Harwood said they’d meet again on AEW Collision.

Toni Storm and Orange Cassidy segment

Storm demanded that the cameramen follow her into where Cassidy was being treated. She asked him what happened, to which Cassidy responded with his uncertainty, yet they agreed that the Death Riders couldn’t be too far behind, and Cassidy would meet with them at AEW Revolution.

Don Callis Family (Kyle Fletcher, Mark Davis, & Kazuchika Okada) defeated Jet Set Rodeo (Hangman Adam Page, Speedball Mike Bailey, & Kevin Knight) (c)

Jet Set Rodeo shocked the DCF, separating all of them for abeatdown. Fletcher cornered Bailey, setting him up for Aussie Open mate Davis, who slammed the French-Canadian. Okada did much of the same with an additional senton. Page cut off Okada and Davis so he could focus on Fletcher, throwing lariats and his own body every which way. Jet Set Rodeo focused its biggest moves on Fletcher before simultaneously superkicking his head. Fletcher tossed Knight into the barricade, tenderizing his already weak ribs. Davis and Fletcher united against Knight before sending him into Okada’s dropkick.

Bailey made a quick save for Knight to land a dropkick of his own to the Rainmaker. The Protostar and Davis fared little better, with moonsaults and dropkicks rocking both members of Aussie Open. He used Davis’s attempt to quell a Shooting Star Press-laden pinfall for his massive senton. Page and Davis battered each other, resulting in Fletcher breaking up a pinfall after a Deadeye. Bailey shocked El Paso wit ha reverse-hurricanrana to counter Fletcher. Page rebounded from the ropes to topple Davis via lariat. MJF decked Page with his Dynamite Diamond Ring. Davis caught Knight and obliterated him with a Piledriver to crown new Men’s World Trios Champions.

(Bailey and Davis were the stars of this. Everyone else shone like they normally do, but these two did the heavy lifting.)

Final Thoughts

Not a bad show. David Finlay debuted with him, Clark Connors, and Gabe Kidd all signing. The Iinspiration had a delightful in-ring debut on television. Plus, Kevin Knight cemented his place as a future world champ. The trios match was a blast, with Okada and Fletcher being double-crowned and Davis receiving some well-deserved gold. Thunder Rosa made a grand return, giving Thekla a solid title defense. The in-ring tonight was truly solid.

AEW Dynamite results and live updates from the Don Haskins Center in El Paso, Texas, tonight will be available throughout the show.
