Ever since the WWE Royal Rumble, the presence of one or many masked assailants attacking wrestlers on both Raw and SmackDown<\/a> has been quite the story. And even though perhaps one of the masked man stand-ins was revealed and unmasked on the last SmackDown of February, it seems this angle is far from finished. Especially when that man, seemingly indie wrestler Don Furio, has ties to both Seth Rollins and Cody Rhodes through their wrestling schools. The plot thickens…<\/p>\n

WWE’s Masked Man Reveal: Meet Don Furio<\/h2>\n

Here are three things we know about the “Magnificent Don Furio” AKA Italian Steel, as it reads on his Instagram bio<\/a>.<\/p>\n

  1. He is an indie wrestler who has appeared on AEW Dark and as an NXT extra.<\/li>\n
  2. He is known locally in the wrestling scene in the Carolinas.<\/li>\n
  3. He cites the Black and Brave Academy and Nightmare Factory as where he’s trained on Instagram, with his Facebook bio reading, “pro wrestler trained by Cody Rhodes, Seth Rollins, and QT Marshall.”<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Let’s digest that third bullet for a moment. On Friday’s SmackDown, the masked man once again tried to interfere to cost the Vision but Logan Paul had him scouted this time and was able to wrestle him to the ground and unmask him<\/a>. Revealed was a face not many likely recognized. Even Joe Tessitore and Wade Barrett on commentary seemed baffled at the sight unfolding before them.<\/p>\n
