Sources are reporting that NXT Superstars <strong>Abbey Laith, Sage Beckett,<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0<strong>Ming<\/strong>\u00a0have been released, and most likely\u00a0<strong>Demetrius Bronson<\/strong> as well, although no official statement has been given by the WWE (although WWE doesn&#8217;t generally announce NXT releases publicly like they do with main roster talent).<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"550\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">So<br \/>Abbey Laith<br \/>Sage Beckett<br \/>Ming<br \/>all released.<\/p>\n<p>Possibly Demitrius Bronson too. The 7-year veteran of the ring, trained by WWE Superstar <strong>Drew Gulak<\/strong>, was considered one of the WWE&#8217;s big catches when she was signed in 2016 alongside <strong>Ruby Riott<\/strong> (then <strong>Heidi Lovelace<\/strong>). But while Ruby Riott&#8217;s career skyrocketed, first as a breakout new star in NXT and then called up to <em><strong>Smackdown Live<\/strong><\/em> to lead her own faction, <strong>The Riott Squad<\/strong>, Laith languished on NXT Live Events. She had a solid showing in last summer&#8217;s <strong>Mae Young Classic<\/strong>, but again fell into silence once the tournament was completed. A veteran of <strong>CZW, SHIMMER, SHINE<\/strong> and most notably <strong>CHIKARA<\/strong>, as <strong>Kimber Lee<\/strong> she was the first female wrestler to win a major men&#8217;s title when she won the CHIKARA Grand Championship in 2015. Alongside Impact&#8217;s <strong>Allie<\/strong> (then known as <strong>Cherry Bomb<\/strong>), she was also part of the tag team <strong>The Kimber Bombs<\/strong>, winning tag titles in both SHIMMER and SHINE.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>SAGE BECKETT<\/strong><\/h3>\n<figure id=\"attachment_15383\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-15383\" style=\"width: 640px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-large wp-image-15383\" src=\"https:\/\/lwosonprowrestling.ms.lastwordonsports.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/15\/2018\/03\/20170725_MaeYoungCompetitors_SageBeckett-3b4298aa1efda979ecaf32ba8260eca4-1024x576.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"640\" height=\"360\"><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-15383\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Photo: WWE<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Another huge signee for the NXT women&#8217;s division in January of 2017, the woman formerly known as <strong>Andrea<\/strong> in SHINE had just returned to wrestling in 2014 after a four year retirement caused by health problems. She had previously competed with Impact Wrestling in 2010 as <strong>Rose Lottalove<\/strong> and <strong>Betsy Ruth<\/strong> on the independents. During her time on NXT Live Events she worked as <strong>Lana<\/strong>&#8216;s manager during Lana&#8217;s preparatory NXT stint before her re-debut on <em>Smackdown Live<\/em> last year as a wrestler. He just made his NXT television debut last September in a losing tag team match against <strong>Heavy Machinery<\/strong>, but he hasn&#8217;t appeared since, on TV or Live Events.
