The Road to WrestleMania is paved with many opportunities. PLEs, such as the WWE Elimination Chamber, present wrestlers with an opportunity to secure a spot in a World Championship match at the Show of Shows. A chance to enter and win the Elimination Chamber is the biggest draw for wrestlers all over the world.<\/p>\n

Winning the Elimination Chamber is the ultimate prize for wrestlers entering into the titular match, but for those who don\u2019t, there are other ways to stand out. Throughout history, numerous wrestlers have stepped into the chamber match\u2014wrestlers who haven\u2019t won the match but have put on performances for the ages. Below, we will look at some of these performances from Elimination Chamber history.<\/p>\n

Braun Strowman (2018)<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Braun Strowman\u2019s star was on the rise in 2018. He had always had the look to be successful, but he was now connecting with the audience. He was the monster that WWE needed him to be, and when he stepped into the Elimination Chamber, the monster was unleashed.<\/p>\n

The field for the Men\u2019s Elimination Chamber was one of its deepest, making what Strowman did that much more incredible. For over 36 minutes, Strowman dominated a field consisting of John Cena, Elias, Finn Balor, The Miz, and Seth Rollins.<\/p>\n

Getting the pinfall over just one of these men would be impressive, let alone defeating all of them. Strowman was a man possessed as he powered his way through 5 of the best WWE had to offer. It was a bit of a shame that he cleared the field for Roman Reigns to go over, but that shouldn\u2019t take away from the job Strowman did.<\/p>\n

Triple H (2002) <\/strong><\/h2>\n

\u00a0<\/strong>The first Elimination Chamber was a gimmick that told a story of redemption. Shawn Michaels’ return to WWE was a fantastic boost for the audience, and winning the World Championship over his former best friend was a perfect bookend to his return. The Chamber was all about the redemption arc of HBK, but what gets lost is the incredible job that Triple H did.<\/p>\n

The Elimination Chamber needed a workhorse to carry the match, and that\u2019s what Triple H was. He started off the match and was the perfect foil for every wrestler involved. His matchups against RVD, Booker T, Kane, and Chris Jericho were spot on. Triple was able to play the menacing heel, while still taking a ton of punishment.<\/p>\n

He did everything he could to keep the match going and give the fans the beating that they wanted to see. Shawn Michaels got the ovation, but Triple H was the glue that held the match together.<\/p>\n

Kofi Kingston (2019) <\/strong><\/h2>\n

Kofi Kingston was WWE\u2019s ultimate journeyman. By 2019, he had spent 13 years in WWE, and while he had amassed an impressive championship resume, there was one that always alluded him. It had gotten to the point that the world never expected him to win the WWE Championship. That was until a groundswell of support and a timely injury to Mustafa Ali thrust Kingston into the spotlight.<\/p>\n

Entering the Chamber, Kofi Kingston was the sentimental favorite, and the crowd was with him the whole way. He outlasted the field before entering into a superb 12-minute finale against WWE Champion Daniel Bryan. It showed the potential of Kingston as the company’s top guy, and it was a performance that led to his first and only WWE Championship.<\/p>\n

Goldberg (2003) <\/strong><\/h2>\n

When Goldberg arrived in WWE, it was main event or bust. The man was presented as an unstoppable force, which is the only thing his character could be. He wasn\u2019t going to have classic wrestling matches, only impressive displays of power that no one could compete against. It was this character that WWE needed to step into the Elimination Chamber, and that\u2019s exactly what they got.<\/p>\n

Goldberg was an unstoppable force in the Elimination Chamber. The deck was stacked against him by World Champion Triple H, but that didn\u2019t matter. He destroyed some of WWE\u2019s best talent in record time on route to the final two against Triple H. Goldberg didn\u2019t break a sweat and seemed like he was on his way to winning the big gold belt. It was unfortunate how the finish transpired, but that shouldn\u2019t take away from the dominating performance we saw from the man called Goldberg.<\/p>\n

John Morrison (2011)<\/strong><\/h2>\n

John Morrison has been a human highlight reel for the majority of his WWE career. His parkour training made him an indispensable commodity in wrestling, having amazing matches with just about everyone. His ability to defy gravity was insane, and it made him a must-see talent, especially when he stepped into the Elimination Chamber in 2011.<\/p>\n

Morrisons’ chances of winning the titular match were near 0 percent, but that didn\u2019t stand in his way of turning in a career-altering performance. For 32 minutes, he stood toe-to-toe with the biggest stars on Monday Night Raw and stole their spotlight. During the match, Morrison scaled the inside of the chamber, dangling from the top of the dome. It was an incredible sight that no one had thought to try.<\/p>\n

Mainly because they didn\u2019t have the skill to pull it off. The fans came out of their seats as he dropped onto Sheamus, eliminating the Irishman from the contest. There was no highlight more impressive than this one; it overshadowed the eventual winner of the match and is what people remember from the 2011 edition of the Elimination Chamber.<\/p>\n
