Or perhaps it was only ever intended as a Dark Match during tonight&#8217;s episode taping. Either way, the debut is still on hold, but it appears that during this week&#8217;s tapings, they have bigger plans for Ricochet&#8217;s debut. Stay tuned&#8230;<\/em><\/p>\n<p>One of the most anticipated NXT debuts in ages happens tonight when one of the top international indie stars of the past decade, <strong>Ricochet<\/strong>,\u00a0makes his WWE television debut tonight on NXT in a match against <strong>Fabian Aichner<\/strong>. The episode is also scheduled to start this year&#8217;s edition of the <strong>Dusty Rhodes Classic<\/strong> and <strong>Aleister Black<\/strong> vs. <strong>Killian Dain<\/strong> in a #1 Contender&#8217;s Match for <strong>Andrade &#8216;Cien&#8217; Almas&#8217;<\/strong> NXT Championship at <em><strong>NXT Takeover: New Orleans.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-15255\" src=\"https:\/\/lwosonprowrestling.ms.lastwordonsports.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/15\/2018\/03\/7813fde5ebc0609fbaf13477c43c08cc-1024x1024.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"457\" height=\"457\"><\/p>\n<p>Trained by current <strong>PWG<\/strong> World Champion and ROH\/NJPW star <strong>Chuck Taylor<\/strong>, Ricochet made his debut in 2005. He spent his early days with <strong>CHIKARA<\/strong> (he won the Young Lions Cup in 2007) and<strong> CZW<\/strong>, then branched out to <strong>EVOLVE<\/strong>, PWG and others in 2010.\u00a0He made his Japan debut with <strong>Dragon Gate<\/strong> in 2011 and spent four years with the company, by which he became one of the biggest indie superstars around the world. In 2015, with partner <strong>Matt Sydal<\/strong>, he won the <strong>NJPW Super Junior Tag Tournament<\/strong>. He left NJPW late 2017 as\u00a0a former 3x IWGP Junior Heavyweight Tag Team Champion.
