The 2026 Women\u2019s Royal Rumble ended with Liv Morgan winning a championship match at WrestleMania: Vegas.\u00a0But there was drama from the very beginning. Charlotte Flair walked out as number 1, aiming for her third Rumble victory. However, her path to WrestleMania\u00a0was\u00a0instantly rocky. Her tag team partner, Alexa Bliss, drew number 2. They\u00a0attempted\u00a0finishers on each other and hugged until Kiana James came out at number 3.\u00a0When the ring started to fill up, they started fighting. <\/span><\/p>\n

Unfortunately, things got out of hand<\/a> in the worst way.\u00a0Nia\u00a0Jax tried to eliminate Bliss,\u00a0with both of them going outside the ropes.\u00a0Flair pushed Jax to eliminate\u00a0her,\u00a0but\u00a0ended up taking Bliss out as well. What was a secure partnership could have some cracks start to form. Knowing Flair, was this move an accident or intentional to split up the duo?<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Flair Truly\u00a0Didn\u2019t\u00a0Mean to Eliminate Bliss<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/h2>\n

The Women\u2019s tag team division in WWE is the strongest it\u2019s been in years. The current champions, RHIYO (Rhea Ripley and Iyo Sky), have their work cut out for them whenever they next defend their titles. Bliss and Flair previously held them for exactly 100 days from SummerSlam night 1 until the November 10, 2025, episode of Monday Night Raw.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

It\u2019s\u00a0clear they want their titles back, but\u00a0they\u2019ll\u00a0have to\u00a0fight off\u00a0many other teams to\u00a0accomplish\u00a0that. With two months until WrestleMania,\u00a0there is a big chance there will be a gauntlet or ladder match\u00a0there\u00a0with\u00a0the teams. <\/span><\/p>\n

Splitting up Flair and Bliss now would hurt the division in a major way. So many singles stars in the division allow for new challengers for the women\u2019s singles titles. Knowing how close another title opportunity is shows that Flair didn\u2019t mean to eliminate Bliss.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

This Partnership Was Doomed to Fail Anyway<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/h2>\n

Flair and Bliss have had an incredible run together, but the betrayal was bound to happen anyway for two apparent reasons. Flair cares too much about singles gold to truly work with someone long-term. If she gets an opportunity to challenge for a singles title, she\u2019ll take it immediately. <\/span><\/p>\n

She may frame it as accidental, but her mistake is entirely in character for her. Also, the Wyatt Sicks are struggling immensely on Friday Night SmackDown. They lost their own tag team titles and their lantern to MFT. <\/span><\/p>\n

There has been much fan speculation that\u00a0she\u2019ll\u00a0end up back with Uncle Howdy eventually. Leaving Flair and joining them was bound to happen sooner rather than later.\u00a0Her being betrayed could end up helping instead of hurting her. It\u00a0wouldn\u2019t\u00a0be surprising at all to see Flair leave her for a\u00a0WrestleMania\u00a0title opportunity at Elimination Chamber.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

What Truly Happened Between the Two Friends?<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/h2>\n

Right now, fans are speculating on the future of this successful tag team due to Saturday\u2019s suspicious elimination. Flair could\u2019ve knocked Bliss over by accident. She knows how deep the Women\u2019s tag team division is and how much she loves holding titles. <\/span><\/p>\n

Risking a breakup could make it harder for them to reclaim the tag team titles if a huge match takes place at WrestleMania. But the latter statement is too much of a character flaw for her. She\u2019ll do anything to get a title opportunity, even betray her friend. <\/span><\/p>\n

It\u00a0wouldn\u2019t\u00a0be ridiculous to suggest that she purposely\u00a0eliminated\u00a0Bliss to further her championship match chances. A split could help both women, as she gets back into the singles title picture and Bliss finally joins the Wyatt Sicks. Things will\u00a0most likely become\u00a0clearer after\u00a0they more than likely talk it out on\u00a0SmackDown.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
