The Royal Rumble is fast approaching, and the world is on the edge of its seat. Outside of WrestleMania, this is WWE\u2019s marquee PLE, and the one that generates a ton of excitement. It\u2019s a show that has great matches and sets the tone for WWE as they move towards its biggest PLE of the year.<\/p>\n

The Royal Rumble is a show that doesn\u2019t need much help when it comes to selling. It\u2019s an event that the world waits for year-round, and it is on our doorstep. The two titular matches draw the eyes of the world, and WWE has done a great job of filling in the rest of the card with must-see contests.<\/p>\n

We all have our reasons for wanting to tune in on Saturday, but let\u2019s look at some of the specifics.<\/p>\n

The Royal Rumble Matches\u00a0<\/strong><\/h2>\n

The drawing point of the Royal Rumble PLE is the matches themselves. The modified Battle Royal has been a feather in WWE\u2019s cap for nearly 40 years. Everything about the match creates a sense of excitement that we don\u2019t get from other gimmick matches that the company has to offer.<\/p>\n

The countdowns, the organized chaos, and the possibility of surprise returns are the factors that make the Royal Rumble the best starting point for the road to WrestleMania. It\u2019s going to be no different as we head into the 2026 edition of the Royal Rumble.<\/p>\n

Many storylines are filling up the Royal Rumble matches. What returning wrestlers will we see? Who will be the one to toss out the most wrestlers? Will there be a shocking moment that the world will be talking about? These are the factors that make us all want to watch the Royal Rumble.<\/p>\n

Is This Going To Be A.J. Styles’ Final Match?<\/strong><\/h2>\n

We know that A.J. Styles has been getting long in the tooth. He has even gone on record that 2026 will be his last in the wrestling world, but as to when that final match will take place, we don\u2019t know. There is a strong possibility that it may take place in Saudi Arabia.<\/p>\n

Gunther has made his name by retiring legends. Goldberg and John Cena have already fallen at the hands of the Ring General, and Styles is now in the crosshairs. Gunther has demanded that Styles put his career on the line at the Royal Rumble, and when he agreed, the world was on the edge of its seat, wondering if this would be Styles’ last hurrah.<\/p>\n

2026 has just started, and there’s no chance that WWE will rip our hearts out already, right? There are so many last matches that we want to see, but there\u2019s a good chance that this will be the end. It\u2019s mind-boggling to think that A.J. Styles retirement run will be over before it begins, but that\u2019s the reality we could be facing on Saturday.<\/p>\n
