The matches of the show were almost identical to the ones that were going to happen back in September. They had about 150 fans in a small building in Dorado, which is somewhat of good news for the promotions, since back in August of 2017, they were doing under 100 fans per show.<\/p>\n<p><strong>WWC <\/strong>demonstrated that even with a large disaster happening and new competition, they still haven\u2019t change their horrific bookings. In 2018, WWC worked the show as if it was 1987, with DQ finish and interferences. People that were at the show bound not to comeback, claiming that the promotion, that has over 44 years of existence, are a lost cause.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Mighty Ursus <\/strong>vs<strong>. Ray Gonzalez <\/strong>ended in DQ, with Gonzalez retaining his WWC Universal title and <strong>Chicano<\/strong> vs. <strong>Gilbert<\/strong> for the Puerto Rican championship went to a draw. <a href=\"http:\/\/lastwordonprowrestling.com\/2017\/07\/18\/ot-fernandez-bringing-back-glory-wwc-jr-title\/\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">OT Fernandez<\/a> beat <strong>Anthony Roberts<\/strong>, <strong>Xix Xavant<\/strong> beats <strong>Peter the Bad Romance<\/strong> and <a href=\"http:\/\/lastwordonprowrestling.com\/2017\/11\/09\/puerto-ricos-top-prospect-part-2-bellito\/\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>Bellito<\/strong> <\/a>beat <strong>El Comandante<\/strong> from <strong>La Revoluci\u00f3n<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>WWC said that they are coming back to Dorado, which is probably a mistake, since fan\u2019s curiosity isn\u2019t going to be at their next show and that\u2019s <strong>Championship Wrestling Association\u2019s<\/strong> main territory right now.<\/p>\n<h2><strong>CWA Destino 2018\u00a0a Success <\/strong><\/h2>\n<figure id=\"attachment_15218\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-15218\" style=\"width: 640px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-large wp-image-15218\" src=\"https:\/\/lwosonprowrestling.ms.lastwordonsports.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/15\/2018\/03\/DWu5BQSVMAA3swb-1024x576.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"640\" height=\"360\"><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-15218\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Photo: CWA<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Speaking of <strong>CWA<\/strong> Puerto Rico, the promotion ran in Guaynabo (my home town), Puerto Rico, with their show <em><strong>CWA Destino 2018<\/strong><\/em>, in front of 150 fans.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Star Roger<\/strong> retained his CWA title against Peter the Bad Romance and <strong>Dimes<\/strong> in the best match of the night. Surprisingly, <strong>Justin Dynamite\u2019s<\/strong> unbeaten CWA run as Puerto Rican champion came to an end, with Roger (accidently) costing Dynamite the match and <strong>Rodrigo Garcia<\/strong> winning the title. This sets the table for a possible feud between Roger and Justin, which are the two best wrestlers and draw of the promotion.<\/p>\n<p>After the Roger match, newly named General manager, <strong>David Estilo<\/strong>, announced that the next defense of Star Roger is against non-other that his archrival and nemesis, the best wrestler in Puerto Rico, <strong>Mecha Wolf 450<\/strong> (more on that in this publication) in March 24 in <strong>Batalla por el<\/strong> <strong>Oro<\/strong> (Battle for Gold).<\/p>\n<p>CWA\u2019s next show is in Aguas Buenas, Puerto Rico, on 3\/10 with Star Roger vs. Rodrigo Garcia in a champion vs. champion match and CWA Champion Steve Joel against La Milicia.<\/p>\n<h2><strong>Star Roger vs. Mecha Wolf 450 VI<\/strong><\/h2>\n<figure id=\"attachment_15242\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-15242\" style=\"width: 600px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-15242\" src=\"https:\/\/lwosonprowrestling.ms.lastwordonsports.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/15\/2018\/03\/17309342_736036469902823_5604293150173244142_n-e1520447916669.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"600\" height=\"375\"><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-15242\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Photo: CWA<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Back in 2014, two wrestlers were on a weird path in their wrestling career. <strong>John Yurnet<\/strong> was coming off tours in <strong>All Japan Pro Wrestling<\/strong> and <strong>Zero-1<\/strong> Wrestling. Event though those were big accomplishments, in Puerto Rico, he was still seen as that small Jr. Heavyweight that was in the prelims in WWC. For <strong>Sensacional Carlitos<\/strong> (now Star Roger), he had to fight and<a href=\"http:\/\/lastwordonprowrestling.com\/2017\/06\/16\/how-star-roger-is-getting-out-of-the-shadow-of-carlos-colon\/\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"> scratch off a satire gimmick to become a true name in Puerto Rico<\/a>. At the time, he was a former Puerto Rican champion, but that was back in 2011, and in 2014, he was facing a drought that seemed to drag him to the bottom of the wrestling scene in the island. It was at <strong>World Wrestling League<\/strong>\u2019s insurrection that both wrestler\u2019s career (450 and Roger) would change forever.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_15243\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-15243\" style=\"width: 640px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-large wp-image-15243\" src=\"https:\/\/lwosonprowrestling.ms.lastwordonsports.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/15\/2018\/03\/DAb3wdXWAAEiSwG-1024x576.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"640\" height=\"360\"><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-15243\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Photo: Contralona<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>The pair started the best wrestling trilogy of the past 8 years in Puerto Rico, a revolutionary task that change the perception of every fan that went to WWL in 2014 and in 2015. Their Table, Ladders and Chair match was named match of the year in 2015. In WWC, it was their TLC match at Euphoria 2016 that made fans wondered if there were ever two good wrestlers better in the island.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_15244\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-15244\" style=\"width: 640px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-large wp-image-15244\" src=\"https:\/\/lwosonprowrestling.ms.lastwordonsports.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/15\/2018\/03\/dd3dab_8ad3e4771cfc437b9d814bfceaa499e7mv2-1024x576.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"640\" height=\"360\"><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-15244\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Photo: Contralona<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Both guys careers exploded after that, with Mecha Wolf 450 gaining exposure in <strong>Impact Wrestling<\/strong>, AAA and WWE and currently having the accolade of best wrestler of Puerto Rico. For Roger, he was a top tier talent after the trilogy, winning WWL Americas title, currently riding a historic reign as CWA champion and awarded in 2017 Wrestler of the Year.<\/p>\n<p>Now, after almost two years without meeting each other, they are going up against each other, this time, it&#8217;s 450 who is trying to face Roger in his territory\u00a0at CWA on 3\/25\u00a0at <em><strong>Batalla por el Oro<\/strong><\/em>.\u00a0(back in WWC, Roger challenged 450 for the WWC Universal title). This isn\u2019t the same Sensacional Carlitos that 450 faced in WWC and this isn\u2019t the same <strong>Mr.450<\/strong> that Roger faced back then. They both have mature and now is Star Roger vs. The Mecha Wolf 450 for the Six Time in four years and fans in the island couldn\u2019t be happier.<\/p>\n<h2><strong>Angel Fashion To The Crash<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-15219\" src=\"https:\/\/lwosonprowrestling.ms.lastwordonsports.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/15\/2018\/03\/m_usbLG_.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"431\" height=\"431\" srcset=\"https:\/\/lastwordonsports.com\/prowrestling\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/15\/2018\/03\/m_usbLG_.jpg 431w, https:\/\/lastwordonsports.com\/prowrestling\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/15\/2018\/03\/m_usbLG_-150x150.jpg 150w, https:\/\/lastwordonsports.com\/prowrestling\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/15\/2018\/03\/m_usbLG_-300x300.jpg 300w, https:\/\/lastwordonsports.com\/prowrestling\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/15\/2018\/03\/m_usbLG_-420x420.jpg 420w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 431px) 100vw, 431px\" \/><\/p>\n<p><strong>Angel Fashion<\/strong>\u2019s blistering 2018 keeps going. Not only does his Holy Fashion faction with <strong>Sr.C <\/strong>and <strong>El Nazareno <\/strong>is rising in Florida and Ohio, but he was announced for <strong>The Crash Lucha Libre<\/strong>\u2019s <strong>Wrestlecon<\/strong> show on <strong>WrestleMania<\/strong> weekend.<\/p>\n<p>Back in 2017, Fashion, Mike Mendoza and Vanilla Vargas were announced for a The Crash show in San Louis Potos\u00ed, but with <strong>Konnan<\/strong>\u2019s exit from the promotion, that line of communication was lost (since WWL talents had an agreement with The Crash).<\/p>\n<p>Now,\u00a0four months later, Fashion gets a\u00a0second chance to appeared in Mexico\u2019s\u00a0third best promotion shows in the best weekend of wrestling. Fashion is going against up-and-coming talents like <strong>Aeroboy<\/strong>, <strong>Curt Stallion<\/strong>, <strong>Dastrik Boy<\/strong>, <strong>J-Spade<\/strong>, <strong>Jason Cade <\/strong>and <strong>Mathew Palmer<\/strong>. Also, in the show\u2019s main event, Austin Aries vs. Penta 0M and in the semi, <strong>La Rebeli\u00f3n Amarilla <\/strong>of <strong>Garza Jr<\/strong>., Mecha Wolf 450 and <strong>Bestia<\/strong> 666 takes on the <strong>LWO<\/strong> of <strong>Nicho el Millonario<\/strong> (Psicosis), <strong>Damian 666<\/strong> and <strong>LA Park<\/strong>.
