Finn Balor had finally snapped. After a night of rejection and various pieces of advice, Finn Balor made his presence known in Raw’s main event.<\/p>\n
AJ Styles was in the midst of what could be his final appearance on Monday Night Raw. He was in the midst of a world title match against CM Punk. He was perhaps in the midst of winning it all. That’s when Balor crashed the scene and attacked Punk. The match ended in a DQ, but one thing was clear: Finn Balor wasn’t going quietly into the night.<\/p>\n
Balor’s first appearance on Raw was in a backstage segment with Punk. Finn Balor told Punk he wanted to thank him for giving him the best night of his career in Belfast<\/a>. Punk said the thanks was all Balor’s as he’s not the best in the world unless he beats the best in the world, and Balor is one of the best. Or at least he was. Punk said if Balor wants to be a world champ again, he’ll need to ditch the Judgment Day. He told Balor that he needs to decide what he wants his legacy to be.<\/p>\n Later in the night, Balor attempted to enter the Royal Rumble but was told there were no spots remaining<\/a> as Pearce said he came to him too late. As Balor walked away frustrated, he encountered Liv Morgan. If Punk was the angel on his shoulder, Morgan was the devil. She told Balor she heard what Punk said about him needing to leave the Judgment Day but he was wrong. Judgment Day wanted to see Finn Balor as world champ. She doubted Punk actually did and felt like he wasn’t showing him respect in Belfast but rather patronizing him. Morgan believed Punk was manipulating Balor. Still annoyed at how his night was going and the reality perhaps staring him in the face, Balor told Morgan things weren’t that simple and walked away.<\/p>\n Then came Punk vs Styles. It was the first time matchup in WWE for the two legends and it was proving to be a fantastic main event<\/a>. That is until Finn Balor showed up. He targeted Punk and dropkicked him into the barricade not once but twice before rolling him back in the ring for a GTS-mocking Coup de Grace.
