Fresh off its season two premiere, WWE and Netflix have already confirmed there will be a season three of the docuseries WWE Unreal<\/a>, which goes behind the scenes and often times, behind gorilla, to explore the storylines, writer’s room, and real life of the superstars. It turns out, fans won’t have to wait long for the next installment as WWE Unreal season three is on its way in a few short months.<\/p>\n

When will WWE Unreal Season Three premiere?<\/h3>\n

While WWE and Netflix haven’t announced an official premiere date for WWE Unreal season three, there was a title card at the end of season two that indicated new episodes would be coming sometime this summer. Season two’s final episode ended with Brock Lesnar confronting John Cena at SummerSlam, which leads into one of the themes that will be explored in season three.<\/p>\n

What are the episodes about, and which superstars will be featured?<\/h3>\n

WWE and Netflix have not officially confirmed the superstars that will be part of WWE Unreal season three or what storylines will be covered, but video footage previewing the season suggests there will be a strong focus on John Cena’s retirement match and possibly other storylines that led up to that. Backstage footage shown at the end of season two saw Cena in conversation with Triple H before his final match, Triple H talking to the writer’s room to ensure everything was perfect for Cena’s retirement, and Cena embracing with both Cody Rhodes and CM Punk after he tapped out to Gunther to end his career.<\/p>\n

How many episodes will there be?<\/h3>\n

Seasons one and two of WWE Unreal included five 50-minute episodes and while the episode order and runtime haven’t been confirmed, it’s safe to assume WWE Unreal season three will follow the same format as the previous two installments.<\/p>\n
