More often than not, Jericho&#8217;s job was to enter the Rumble relatively early, as he was one of the veterans the company trusted to put all the pieces of the puzzle together. For example, Jericho came out at #2 and lasted 39 minutes the previous year. That meant Chris Jericho was the final Raw wrestler to be eliminated from the 2004 Royal Rumble Match. The <a href=\"https:\/\/lastwordonsports.com\/prowrestling\/2021\/12\/09\/chris-jericho-first-undisputed-wwf-champion\/\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_self\">first-ever WWE Undisputed Champion<\/a> was eventually tossed out by his future JeriShow teammate, Big Show.<\/p>\n<h3>What did Chris Jericho do at WrestleMania 20?<\/h3>\n<p>Chris Jericho faced his former tag team partner, Christian, in a singles match at WrestleMania 20. Because of his strong booking, the Olympic gold medalist had to be considered one of the favorites heading into the Royal Rumble match.<\/p>\n<p>Angle was one of the many top stars who added star power to the Royal Rumble in the second half of the match. Entering the bout at #19, Angle was in the ring for nearly half an hour. While the aforementioned wrestlers lasted until the end without truly dominant runs, the same can&#8217;t be said about the Big Show. Show eliminated four of the last five wrestlers from the 2004 Royal Rumble.<\/p>\n<p>He came close to eliminating Chris Benoit as well. However, the Rabid Wolverine showcased his resilience and managed to win the match.
