Tomorrow night in Windsor, Ontario, Canada (directly across from Detroit, Michigan), Scott D’Amore<\/strong>‘s Border City Wrestling (BCW)<\/strong> teams up to host Impact Wrestling<\/strong>‘s One Night Only<\/strong><\/em> taping at St. Clair College, entitled March Breakdown<\/strong><\/em>. It features a healthy dose of Impact Wrestling stars, with some of the hottest emerging Canadian indie talent. Here’s a run down of tomorrow night’s card.<\/p>\n

IDRIS ABRAHAM vs. REVERSO<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Idris Abraham<\/strong> has been a member of Impact Wrestling’s X-Division for much of 2017 and was a part of Impact Wrestling’s Super X Cup<\/strong><\/em>, but he’s been an emerging talent in the Canadian indies for years now, with the likes of Smash Wrestling, BCW<\/strong>, and C4<\/strong>, as well as Midwest US indies like AIW<\/strong> and XICW<\/strong>. His opponent, El Reverso<\/strong>, is continuing his comeback story, only returning to the ring last year after being away for nearly a decade. He’s a BCW original who started in 2004, but walked away in 2008. He returned last year at\u00a0BCW Excellence ’17\u00a0<\/strong><\/em>in the Doug Chevalier Battle Royal<\/em> and he’s been competing again ever since.<\/p>\n

Impact Wrestling’s newest stable, The Great Gama<\/strong>‘s Desi Hit Squad<\/a>, makes their debut at the taping, as Rohit Raju<\/strong> (who wrestled the Midwest and Ontario indies as Hakim Zane<\/strong>) and Gursinder Singh<\/strong> (England indie star Tony Cage<\/strong>, who moved to Canada to train with Lance Storm<\/strong>) face two Ontario indie wrestlers of various experience. Stone Rockwell<\/strong> (more well known as Asylum<\/strong> of the Flatliners<\/strong> team) is a 16 year veteran, while his partner is Sheldon Jean<\/strong>, a young BCW student from Ottawa who is returning from an excursion where he trained with Pro Wrestling NOAH<\/strong>. This will be a comedic match in personality, but don’t underestimate the in-ring ability of the four men in the ring.<\/p>\n

The messy on-screen break-up of couple Allie<\/strong> and Braxton Sutter<\/strong> continues (don’t worry, they’re still happily married in real life) as Allie teams up with another Windsor native, former Impact Wrestling Team Canada member A1<\/strong> (A1 was part of the BCW graduates who made up Team Canada<\/strong> including Bobby Roode, Eric Young<\/strong>, and Petey Williams<\/strong>, lead by Scott D’Amore). Braxton Sutter pairs up with one of the Knockout Division’s latest additions, Canadian indie star KC Spinelli<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

This may not feature names well known outside of Ontario or the Midwest, but it may be one of the night’s most hotly anticipated match ups inside St. Clair College. Former All Japan<\/strong> wrestler Phil Atlas<\/strong> is currently BCW Tag Team Champion alongside one of Ontario’s most explosive indie stars in Brent Banks<\/strong> – but Atlas recently turned on Banks and the team is in chaos (the team were featured on Impact Wrestling last fall in a losing effort against OvE<\/strong>). On Saturday, each Champion have chosen new partners, with the winning team claiming sole ownership of the BCW Tag titles. Atlas has taken one of Michigan’s fastest rising indie stars in Jake Something<\/strong>, whose also appeared regularly for Glory Pro<\/strong> (where he’s their current Crown of Glory Champion), Chicago’s AAW<\/strong> and Toronto’s Superkick’d<\/strong>. Banks has gone aerial and chosen BCW grad Aiden Prince<\/strong>, an electrifying high flyer who recently stole the show at\u00a0Excellence ’17<\/em> in a match against WWE UK Champion Pete Dunne<\/strong>, who has also worked for Smash Wrestling.<\/p>\n

Long time Impact fans will remember Cody Deaner<\/strong> from his stint with Impact in 2009, when he was paired alongside ODB<\/strong>. He still wrestles regularly on the indies and on Saturday he faces former Impact World Champion Eli Drake<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

A triple threat as good as they get – three of the most decorated X-Division stars of all time: Trevor Lee<\/strong> is a 3x X-Division Champion and Impact Wrestling, PWG and AAW Tag Team Champion, Petey Williams<\/strong> is a 2x X-Division Champion, and Matt Sydal<\/strong> is not only the current Impact Grand Champion, but is a former WWE Tag Team Champion, ROH Tag Team Champion and 2x IWGP Light Heavyweight Tag Team Champion. This will probably score the most “HOLY SH*T!” chants of the night.<\/p>\n

A thunderous clash of two big “hosses”, as “Mr. Impact Wrestling” Moose<\/strong> goes head to head with current reigning All Japan Triple Crown Champion Joe Doering<\/strong> in a non-title match. Both men hit hard, hit often, and can take a beating. It will be interesting to see which one emerges with the least amount of damage.<\/p>\n

In the main event, an unlikely alliance of Impact World Champion Austin Aries<\/strong> and World Champion suitor Alberto El Patron<\/strong> team up to face Impact’s “New Monster” Kongo Kong<\/strong> (who also happens to be BCW’s Champion). Kong is pairing up with stand out Ontario indie star RJ City<\/strong>, who works Toronto’s Destiny Wrestling<\/strong> and Buffalo’s Empire State Wrestling (ESW)<\/strong> and made a brief appearance with Impact late last year.
