This Christmas Eve, AEW Dynamite returns to the legendary Hammerstein Ballroom in New York City for the now annual Dynamite on 34th<\/sup> Street. With one week before the final AEW PPV of 2025, AEW Worlds End, The Continental Classic will conclude. The semi-finals will be set. The chase to top the Gold League is open. Likewise, every win matters for the Blue League. Some wrestlers will be working double duty at the Hammerstein on Dynamite and then Christmas Collision.<\/p>\n

A wealth of matches and segments were confirmed on Saturday night\u2019s Collision, including MJF in action. For the first time since its inception, it has a new holder! The ring served MJF well over the past six years. It\u2019s time for a new keeper. Aha!<\/p>\n

Dynamite Diamond Ring Final<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Ricochet and Bandido were the last men standing after Dynamite in Manchester. Bringing together two of the best performers of 2025 is inspired booking. Both men have had excellent 2025s.<\/p>\n

Bandido has made himself stand out in every match. From escaping the clutches of the Jericho Vortex<\/a> to win the ROH World Championship and then the AEW World Tag Team Championship with Brody King in an incredible odd-couple tandem.<\/p>\n

Ricochet, as a character, has come into his own. Excellent feuds with Swerve Strickland, continual beef with The Hurt Syndicate, and becoming the leader of his own faction before becoming the inaugural AEW National Champion.<\/p>\n

Pitting them together could be the start of something bigger heading into Worlds End and\/or 2026. Will Ricochet need to sneak and cheat his way to victory? With that ring, Ricochet could, as a character, do a lot with that pretty but damaging piece of jewelry. Or does Bandido end his 2025 with his third big prize and buck the historic trend?<\/p>\n

Continental Classic \u00a0<\/b><\/strong><\/h2>\n

Three huge penultimate matches take place. Each competitor is pulling double duty and will still have one match in the tournament left for Christmas Collision.<\/p>\n

Orange Cassidy must take on Konosuke Takeshita in what will be an incredible contrast of styles. Konosuke has only lost points because of a draw. The IWGP World Heavyweight champion has looked near invincible. Against an opponent like Cassidy, this could be one-sided bullying.<\/p>\n

The Alpha could juice Cassidy and leave him as freshly squeezed pulp. Think Konosuke vs. Darby Allin from 2024. Or, could Cassidy be about to get another upset?<\/p>\n

Roderick Strong takes on Mascara Dorada. Strong is still looking to secure his first points. Another awesome clash of styles, Dorada is going to have to rely on inner strength and resilience to fight through the Messiah of the Backbreakers’ offence.<\/p>\n

Finally, Jack Perry will face the PAC. The former Jungle Boy, since his return, has brought home-made knives and plenty of grit and bite to AEW. Like PAC vs. Kyle Fletcher, we might see more of the old Dragon Gate PAC returning against Perry. This could be a brutal encounter for Darby Allin\u2019s alternate, or a chance to get revenge for his rival.<\/p>\n

So much to play for! So many stories and possibilities!<\/p>\n
