The Miz is one of the greatest WWE wrestlers on the current roster. He has won six separate championships with a total of twenty-one title reigns. <\/span><\/p>\n

With nearly twenty years on the main roster, he has seen many wrestlers arrive and depart from the company. But he\u2019s still here, as his wrestling ability and charismatic nature still make him a top draw. However, the past couple of years haven\u2019t been too kind to him in regard to the win-loss column. <\/span><\/p>\n

His last televised singles win came nearly two years ago,<\/a> and his previous singles title reign was almost five years ago. But in professional wrestling, not everything is wins and losses. <\/span><\/p>\n

There are many reasons why he is chosen to be the guy to get everyone over. People might feel bad for him now, given his accomplishments, but it\u2019s clear why he is currently the reliable veteran.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The Miz\u2019s Resume Speaks for Itself\u00a0<\/strong><\/h2>\n

People who just started watching WWE know The Miz as one thing. He\u2019s the funny guy who loses all of his matches. But would he rather be the veteran who puts others over or the veteran who hogs all the championships? He\u2019s known as one of the friendliest guys on the roster\u2014someone who can be relied on and can be a good teacher. <\/span><\/p>\n

There\u2019s been no complaining or whining from him. He does it because he wants to help the next generation of wrestlers. <\/span><\/p>\n

They want to talk to him based on his resume alone. He has been Intercontinental Champion eight times, WWE World Tag Team Champion five times, and WWE Tag Team Champion four times.\u00a0There\u2019s\u00a0no question that\u00a0main\u00a0roster\u00a0newcomers instantly flock to him for questions. With that many title reigns, The Miz knows\u00a0hard work\u00a0and how to be successful on the main roster.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

His Hard Work Has Recently Paid Off\u00a0<\/strong><\/h2>\n

For the past several months, he had been paired with Carmelo Hayes. Predictably, he had some disagreements with Hayes, and they split up. Now, Hayes is getting cheers and more recognition from the crowd every week. He took two losses in the Last Time is Now Tournament against Jey Uso and LA Knight. <\/span><\/p>\n

Both of them have come out better, with Jey reteaming with his brother Jimmy and Knight being in a storyline with the Vision. He also had a segment<\/a> at Saturday Night\u2019s Main Event. R-Truth accused him of stealing Joe Hendry\u2019s spot in the tournament. <\/span><\/p>\n

Sure enough, Hendry appeared, and Miz put him over in a huge way. He knows that he is in the latter half of his career. Instead of hogging the title picture, he\u2019s helping out the young guys who will be in his position someday, showing respect to the next generation.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Perfect Spot at this Stage of his Career<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Some fans might be outraged at the treatment of the Miz over the past couple of years. Aside from a two-month WWE World Tag Team title reign with R-Truth, he has been taking loss after loss. But looking beyond those losses, you\u2019ll see a veteran more than willing to help the next generation. <\/span><\/p>\n

Outside of the ring, he\u2019s very respected by everyone. With his credentials, there\u2019s no way the young wrestlers should ignore his advice. In the ring, taking losses puts them over as they introduce themselves to the main roster audience.<\/span><\/p>\n

He has majorly helped out Hayes, Hendry, and even though they\u2019re not young, Jey Uso, and Knight in recent months. Even Karrion Kross and Scarlett got a push thanks to him before their departure last summer. The Miz has done some great work elevating talent and being a true professional who does his job well.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
