Penta Beats El Grande Americano with Unexpected Help<\/h2>\n
Penta had every right to be mad at El Grande Americano. He and Rusev had an amazing number one contender’s match for the Intercontinental Championship. However, it was ruined by the three Americanos. Mysterio could’ve interfered himself, and that probably would’ve changed nothing. He didn’t do that, though, instead sending out his friends to do his work.<\/p>\n
If it wasn’t for them, there would’ve been an easier path to the Intercontinental Championship. El Grande, Bravo, and Rayo took away Penta’s chance at getting a one-on-one match with Mysterio. They made his championship journey harder. To set things right, he would have to beat El Grande Americano somehow.<\/p>\n
The match was pretty good, with both men showing their athletic movesets. Penta had to be aware of everything at all times, unfortunately. Bravo and Rayo joined El Grande at ringside, ready to lend a helping hand whenever he needed it. However, Penta had some help himself in the form of the referee.<\/p>\n
He hit El Grande with a Tornado DDT, then flew over the ropes when he stumbled out of the ring. As Penta tried to get back inside, Bravo took out his legs. The referee saw it and kicked him out. When that happened, El Grande conversed with Rayo, who gave him the metal for the loaded mask. He tried to hit him, but failed.<\/p>\n With El Grande down, Penta went up to the top rope. Rayo tried to grab his leg, which got him kicked out as well. Penta jumped on him, got back in the ring, and countered a flying headbutt with a superkick. Then he hit El Grande with a Mexican Destroyer that led to the successful pinfall. He got an impressive victory, with the referee helping by kicking Los Americanos out.
