Now, everyone knows that wins and losses aren’t really important in WWE; it only matters when the company wants it to (say, Undertaker’s WrestleMania streak). Still, it’s an interesting statistic to look at.

John Cena recently won his 100th PLE match in WWE, but he isn’t the only wrestler to win so many times. Lots of wrestlers have done it in the past, and many more will surpass these records in the future. But for now, these wrestlers have the most PPV/PLE wins in WWE out of everyone else.

Roman Reigns

Total PPV/PLE matches: 120

Wins: 77

Losses: 41

Draws: 2

It’s not surprising that Roman Reigns is on this list. After all, he had one of the most dominating runs in modern WWE history (if not the most dominating run), which saw him reign as the Universal Champion for 1316 days. This goes on to show how much faith WWE has in him.

Every premium live event that Reigns was a part of suddenly became must-see. Granted, there were times fans wanted to see him lose, and he probably should’ve lost at those times, but one can’t deny that his Tribal Chief run was executed with near perfection. Roman Reigns has worked in 120 PLE matches in the past 15 years, where he’s won 77 times. He really is The Big Dog, it seems.

Embed from Getty Images

Randy Orton

Total PPV/PLE matches: 193

Wins: 81

Losses: 108

Draws: 4

The Ohio Valley Wrestling Class of 2002 gave wrestling some of its greatest performers to date. Randy Orton was one of the graduates from this class, and there’s no denying he’s had a legendary run in WWE so far.

Orton has racked up 14 World Championship victories throughout this time and has had countless big moments, such as becoming the youngest champion at the age of 24, burning The Wyatt Compound, or feuding with legends such as John Cena and Triple H.

His PLE win/loss record might surprise fans, as Orton has lost more matches than he’s won. But he’s also wrestled more PLEs than anyone else in WWE’s history, which is why, despite losing a lot more, he’s still on this list. The Viper has wrestled a total of 193 matches so far, winning 81 of them.

Triple H

Total PPV/PLE matches: 180

Wins: 92

Losses: 83

Draws: 5

Triple H’s wrestling career ended five years ago, with his last PLE match taking place against Randy Orton himself at WWE Super ShowDown. HHH didn’t win this one. In his 24-year-long WWE career, Triple H worked 180 PLE matches. “The Game” won 92 of them and lost 83. Cena won the match, which marked his 100th PLE win in WWE.

Cena had to get past a lot of incredible stars such as CM Punk, Edge, The Rock, Triple H, and Randy Orton, to get to 100 wins. The Cenation Leader will only work two more PLE events before retirement, so these stats will soon change. He wrestled in 181 matches (third most overall) and won 107 times. Almost one-fifth of his victories came at WrestleMania, where he won 25 matches.

The Phenom tied his wrestling boots over five years ago, facing AJ Styles in a Boneyard match where he ended his career with a victory. It took him over 30 years to get so many victories, and even then, it was only possible because he was The Undertaker. Most PLEs now don’t really feature that many wrestlers, and even then, most wrestlers don’t stay relevant or work for so long. It’s highly unlikely that anyone else will ever surpass this record.

Also Read: The 5 WWE Wrestlers With the Most PPV Losses

More From LWOS Pro Wrestling

Main image credit: Grace Smith/IndyStar / USA TODAY NETWORK via Imagn Images – Stay tuned to the Last Word on Pro Wrestling for more on the WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event (SNME) XLI and other stories from around the world of wrestling, as they develop.
