One of the absolute highlights of last year’s WrestleMania<\/strong> week was the Game Changer Wrestling (GCW)<\/strong><\/em> presentation of Joey Janela’s Spring Break<\/strong><\/em>, that featured a great mix of matches from the brutality of GCW Champion Matt Tremont<\/strong> vs. Eddie Kingston <\/strong>to\u00a0Lio Rush <\/strong>vs. Keith Lee<\/strong>, intergender wrestling with Every Time I Die<\/strong>‘s Andy Williams<\/strong><\/a> & Penelope Ford<\/strong> vs. Braxton Sutter<\/strong>\u00a0& Allie<\/strong>, and main evented by Matt Riddle<\/strong> against MMA legend Dan “The Beast” Severn<\/strong> (not to mention Janela himself facing Marty Jannetty<\/strong> and the battle royal that featured the return of WCW’s Glacier<\/strong>). This year’s WrestleMania week is going to be another week of great action and once again, GCW presents Joey Janela’s Spring Break 2<\/strong><\/em>. Before tonight, the only two matches announced were Joey Janela facing Michinoku Pro, NJPW<\/strong> and ECW<\/strong> Legend The Great Sasuke<\/strong> and CHIKARA<\/strong> owner\/indie pioneer Mike Quackenbush<\/strong>\u00a0taking on indie superstar David Starr<\/strong>, both solid matchups in their own right.<\/p>\n

Tonight Joey Janela revealed the third match for Spring Break 2, and with the help of Wrestling Arcade<\/strong><\/a>, unveiled perhaps the coolest match announcement vignette of all time. Check it out below:<\/p>\n

So the third match announced will feature one of the heaviest hitting men on the planet, the bruiser WALTER<\/strong> from wXw<\/strong>‘s RINGKAMPF<\/strong>, who has been tearing up not only his native Germany (where’s he’s currently the wXw World Tag Team Champion with RINGKAMPF partner Timothy Thatcher<\/strong>) but the UK scene as well (he’s currently the PROGRESS<\/strong> Atlas Champion). And when he’s not jetsetting between the mainland and the British Isles, he’s slopperknocking in the United States with EVOLVE<\/strong> and PWG<\/strong> with the likes of Keith Lee, Matt Riddle, Jeff Cobb<\/strong> and Zack Sabre Jr.<\/strong><\/p>\n

His opponent is another throwback wrestler (like last year’s additions of Severn, Jannetty and Glacier) and one we haven’t seen in some time. French-Canadian tough guy Pierre Carl Ouellet<\/strong>, a 3x WWF World Tag Team Champion alongside Jacques Rougeau<\/strong> in The Quebecers<\/strong> in the early 1990s and WCW Hardcore Champion. During his 31-year career, he also wrestled for ECW<\/strong>, Puerto Rico’s WWC<\/strong>, Impact Wrestling<\/strong>, Montreal’s International Wrestling Syndicate (IWS)<\/strong> and Germany’s wXw.<\/p>\n

In fact, this won’t even be the first time that WALTER and Ouellet have faced each other. Back in 2008, Ouellet teamed with former A4<\/strong> member Absolute Andy<\/strong> in a match against a younger WALTER (then Big Van Walter) and Marc Slater<\/strong> at wXw 16 Carat Gold ’08<\/strong><\/em>, followed up with a singles one on one match at wXw Full Force VII<\/strong><\/em> that May (Ouellet’s tag team won, but WALTER won the singles encounter). So effectively, this is the duo’s rubber match.<\/p>\n
