Rhodes got right into it, asking people if he should apologize for what he did to Drew last week. Before Cody could go any further, McIntyre would make his presence felt, proceeding to warn Cody that his days as champion were numbered. McIntyre would go a step further, taunting everyone by asking who attacked Jacob Fatu. Jimmy Uso would appear out of nowhere and batter McIntyre, fully believing he did the deed. They were broken up swiftly by WWE security, as the MFT made their way to the ring as the chaos ensued, ready to battle Rey Fenix and Shinsuke Nakamura.

In an exciting tag team match, Nakamura and Fenix face off against a war-painted JC Mateo and an in-ring returning Tama Tonga. These two teams had quite a war. Unfortunately, everyone in MFT contributed apart from the two legal competitors. Fenix had them on the ropes and was about to go for the kill against Tama. Sikoa would not let that happen, distracting the referee, while Talla Tonga would Chokeslam Fenix on the edge of the ring, the hardest part of the squared circle. Tama Tonga would hit the “Cutthroat” Back Elbow to finish off Fenix and get the pin.

Backstage, Jimmy Uso was demanding a fight, not a match, but a fight against Drew McIntyre tonight. SmackDown General Manager Nick Aldis would comply, sanctioning a No Disqualification Match in Arizona.

Up next, WWE Women’s Champion Tiffany Stratton takes on Kiana James in a non-title match. James brought the fight tonight, and at the tail-end of this match, almost had Stratton with a Michinoku Driver. Stratton would get her bearings and hit Kiana with a Swanton Bomb, followed up by a Prettiest Moonsault Ever for the win. Giulia would immediately batter the champion, hitting her with an Arrivederci Knee. Before she could finish the job, Jade Cargill would hit the ring to ward off Giulia and James. Cargill would prop up the champion as they share a moment of mutual respect. Cargill would do the unthinkable after the chaos cleared, leaving the WWE Universe shocked.

Next, #AndNEW United States Champion Ilja Dragunov defends the title in a U.S. Open Challenge. Before the match, Dragunov made it clear that he intends to continue the challenge, claiming that it’s ingrained in his DNA not to give up and put on a heck of a show, beginning this Friday night. Ilja’s cry for a battle was immediately answered by a rejuvenated Aleister Black, accompanied by Zelina Vega. This version of Aleister Black is a more devastating monster. Black would take control for most of the match, leveling Dragunov with kicks, as well as a deadly Brainbuster. Dragunov would fight back, hitting the Constantine Special and a Torpedo Moscow for a near-fall. As Dragunov was going in for the H-Bomb, Vega would interfere, causing him to lose his focus. The referee saw what Zelina did and proceeded to eject her from the ringside. Vega would refuse, then Damian Priest, sporting a black eye from the fireball thrown at his face by black, would make his way to the ring. Black would turn his attention to his arch-nemesis, allowing Dragunov to hit another Torpedo Moscow and retain the U.S. Championship. After the open challenge, Priest would attack Black, propping him up on the announcers’ table, threatening to end him with a steel chair. Vega would jump on Priest’s back, causing Aleister to get out of the compromising position, and letting them retreat.

Cathy Kelley would have a conversation with Carmelo Hayes, talking about The Miz and how Melo Don’t Miz effectively ended when Miz put his hands on Melo. Before Melo could tell us more, Kit Wilson would interrupt, chastizing Hayes for confusing things. Melo said he’ll make him pay next week.

We see Ilja Dragunov after his successful title defense getting congratulated by Fraxiom, with the pairing looking for a shot of their own. Dragunov made it clear that he welcomes all challengers. #DIY would once again thumb their nose in Fraxiom’s business, as the two sides go off on each other verbally. Tama Tonga would see this and would shush Fraxiom, snickering menacingly.

Prior to the main event, WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship, Alexa Bliss and Charlotte Flair were asked about their thoughts regarding the challengers for their gold. Nia Jax would cut this little chit-chat short, trying to drive a wedge between the two, stating that she can’t wait for either woman to turn on each other, and saying that she’ll see Bliss next week as she walks away.

For the main event of the evening, Jimmy Uso looks to get his pound of flesh against Drew McIntyre in a No Disqualification Match. As expected, these two had a straight-up brawl, with McIntyre meeting Jimmy right on the entrance ramp. Both men had cruel intentions, hitting each other with everything but the kitchen sink. In the closing moments of the match, Jimmy would hit an exclamation point of a Samoan Drop on a table on McIntyre. However, Drew was too locked in, and as Jimmy was going for the Uso Splash, he would throw a chair in his face. McIntyre would end the night on a sour note for Jimmy with a Claymore to claim the W. Drew wasn’t done, looking to put Jimmy out of commission permanently. Luckily, Cody Rhodes would storm the ring and dispatch Drew McIntyre. Rhodes would check on the fallen Uso, only to get blindsided by a Claymore for his efforts to end the night.

That’s all for REAL-TIME WWE SmackDown results on October 24, 2025, as they unfold live from the Mullett Arena in Tempe, AZ.

More From LWOS Pro Wrestling

Header photo – WWE – Stay tuned to the Last Word on Pro Wrestling for more on the WWE SmackDown results and other stories from around the world of wrestling, as they develop.
