Since TKO took over, there has been a larger effort to bring their bigger shows to a worldwide audience, and this Saturday, we will get to see WWE Crown Jewel make its way to the Land Down Under.

Crown Jewel is shaping up to be a fantastic night of professional wrestling. The five advertised matches represent a vast range of attractions that will please every type of wrestling fan. There is no doubt that WWE will spare no expense to bring Australia the PLE that it deserves.

Each match presents its own allure, but most of all, the discussion around who will walk away victorious is the apex. There is some debate as to who the winners will be once the night is over, and everyone has shared their opinion. Well, the time has come to try our own hand at predicting who will be leaving Australia the winners.

John Cena vs AJ Styles

The retirement tour rolls on for John Cena. This time around, he is going to battle with one of his greatest recent rivals. The matches that he has had with AJ Styles have become legendary, and the world has been itching for Styles to be one of the lucky few to stand across from John Cena one last time.

Both men are in the latter part of their careers, but that shouldn’t stop them from putting on a show. AJ Styles can still go, and Cena has proven that he has one or two great matches left in him. This will be a fantastic showcase from two of the greatest to lace up a pair of boots.

Considering the bad taste that Cena’s last match left in everyone’s mouth, it would be silly to have him lose again. John Cena needs all the momentum he can get leading into his final match, and this would be a great way to get him back on track.

Winner: John Cena

Rhea Ripley & IYO SKY vs The Kabuki Warriors

The layers involved with these four women have made for great television leading up to Saturday. The heel turn from Asuka and Kairi Sane was telegraphed but well-received, considering both women play better as heels.

The more interesting angle is the alliance between Ripley and SKY, born out of respect, but could shatter at any moment. Does anyone believe there isn’t the slightest chance that this could all be a ruse and IYO SKY turns heel? Stranger things have happened.

The match quality for this tag team match will be solid. All four women are at the top of their game and have the chemistry to turn this tag match into one of the best of the year.

There is a heel turn coming from IYO SKY, and this is the match where it happens. Her character has been slightly stagnant, and a heel vs face feud between her and Rhea Ripley will bring a freshness to both characters. The mist was a ruse, and Ripley will be betrayed.

Winners: The Kabuki Warriors

Australian Street Fight: Roman Reigns vs Bronson Reed

Roman Reigns and Bronson Reed have engaged in a very physical feud. Reed poses a threat to Roman Reigns that he may have never come up against before. The big Australian has gotten the best of Reigns at almost every turn, and this has led to this stipulation being added.

A Street Fight is precisely what these men need. They will be able to tear each other apart without having to resort to a traditional match. This card requires a special attraction, and that’s what we have gotten.

It will be interesting to see how the crowd responds to this match. Bronson Reed is a home country boy, and the crowd could turn on Reigns. We could see a reaction that was reserved for The Big Dawg of years past. Or we could see Roman Reigns keep the crowd on his side; either way, it will be fun to watch.

As far as a winner goes, Bronson Reed needs a big win to continue his push. He is a main event star in the making, and this win will get him there. Plus, a Street Fight gimmick will allow Roman Reigns to lose without hurting his aura.

Winner: Bronson Reed

Women’s Crown Jewel Championship: Tiffanyy Stratton vs Stephanie Vaquer

This will be a fantastic battle between two of the brightest stars on the roster. Tiffany Stratton and Stephanie Vaquer represent an uprising of female talent, and they will be at the top of their division for a long time to come.

Both women are fantastic in the ring, and this gives us a fresh matchup. It’s nice to see World Wrestling Entertainment change things up at the top, avoiding stale storytelling. This is a match of two high-flyers, so we can be sure that there are going to be some amazing top rope spots.

Stratton and Vaquer could both use a win here. Tiffanyy Stratton has been having a problem with credible challengers, and thus, her reign has done nothing of note. She could use a big win, and this would be a great arena for that. Unfortunately, we are going to go with the hot hand here with Stephanie Vaquer.

She is the hottest thing in the Women’s Division right now, and WWE has put all its weight behind her. It’s time for La Primera to take her rightful place.

Winner: Stephanie Vaquer

Men’s Crown Jewel Championship: Cody Rhodes vs Seth Rollins

If it isn’t broke, don’t fix it. Cody Rhodes and Seth Rollins have been at the forefront of WWE programming for years. Whether it be against one another or taking the same side, they have been behind great television.

Seth Rollins and Cody Rhodes’ trilogy of matches in 2022 was nothing short of spectacular. All are different in their own way, setting themselves apart from one another. They have given us gold every time they are paired up, and this Saturday will be no different. It will be a clash of titans, and both men have a lot to lose here.

Cody took the Crown Jewel Championship home last year, and it’s his title to win this year as well. Yes, Seth Rollins probably needs to win more to push himself and his stable as a dominant force. But other factors are going to play into this finish.

The problems between CM Punk and Seth Rollins are far from over, and the Second City Saint isn’t done yet. Having him come out and cost The Architect the Crown Jewel Championship is the best way to throw fuel on their fire.

Winner: Cody Rhodes

More From LWOS Pro Wrestling

Header photo – WWE – Stay tuned to the Last Word on Pro Wrestling for more on the WWE Crown Jewel Perth Predictions and other stories from around the world of wrestling, as they develop.
