At the show’s Buy-In, it put Ishimori in a 10-minute pre-block, adding to his already uphill battle.

Ishimori scored one win and sustained one loss in this surprise block.

Secret Block

Ishimori started the first block in the main card, as stated in the rules that he would start all four blocks. It was here that he made one of his two substitutions when he beckoned for the Brahman Brothers to enter in his stead.

Unfortunately, it backfired. The siblings could only muster scoring one win compared to seven losses, even though they technically won the block by finishing it as the only competitors remaining.

Tohoku Block

The hole Ishimori was in got deeper when he got pinned by Shuji Ishikawa, which prompted him to use his last substitution. Tarou Nohashi from Michinoku Pro took his place but didn’t do much for him, as he could only score one win after absorbing another loss throughout his stint in the block.

Muscle Block

It was in this block that Ishimori got his bearings back. He scored three eliminations, which would bring his win total to six against nine losses.

Both YOH and MAO were holdovers from the Tohoku Block, as they elected to compete since they weren’t eliminated during their block.

Dragon Block

Ishimori won big in this last block as he was the last man standing and improved his record to finish with 11 wins against nine losses.
