The former NXT Women&#8217;s Champion has been working as a henchwoman for her group, and it appears that the company has faltered in its support for &#8220;The Prodigy&#8221; since her move to the main roster. Here\u2019s our take on why Roxanne Perez could do wonders if given the opportunity to compete against some excellent talent on Monday nights.<\/p>\n<h2>Roxanne Perez Needs a Singles Push<\/h2>\n<p>Roxanne Perez was the NXT Women&#8217;s Champion twice, with title reigns of 109 and 276 days, proving she can deliver a spectacle when given the opportunity. On the main roster, Perez has been working with The Judgment Day, but it doesn\u2019t seem like the company has plans for a singles run.<\/p>\n<p>The former Women&#8217;s Tag Team Champion has worked alongside Raquel Rodriguez and has still managed to stand out. This demonstrates that with the right storyline, she could be a great performer. Perez joined <a href=\"https:\/\/lastwordonsports.com\/prowrestling\/2025\/07\/09\/the-never-ending-day-of-the-judgement-day-in-the-wwe\/\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_self\">The Judgment Day<\/a> in June this year, and it would be a compelling arc to end her time with the group after Liv Morgan returns and takes her out. It\u2019s no surprise that she became Dominik Mysterio\u2019s on-screen love interest after joining The Judgment Day earlier this year. While this romantic storyline keeps her on television, Perez is far more capable than just being someone\u2019s on-screen partner.<\/p>\n<p>She has the potential to be an excellent heel and could face off against many women on the current roster without needing a championship. Maxxine Dupri, Natalya, or even her role model, AJ Lee, would be excellent opponents for her. All Perez needs is a push and belief in her talent. However, these roles do not fully showcase her talent. The Raw roster features exceptional champions, with Stephanie Vaquer holding the Women\u2019s World Championship and Becky Lynch as the Women\u2019s Intercontinental Champion.<\/p>\n<p>Perez knows the value of championship gold and has proven multiple times that she can be an outstanding singles champion. She could challenge Lynch or earn an opportunity against Vaquer for her title.
