It will be the 20th edition of the annual show held in the Tokyo Dome every 4th of January.\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">To celebrate, NJPW held a press conference outside of Kabukicho Tower in Tokyo on September 30, where they had company president Hiroshi Tanahashi and young lion Aaron Wolf speak in front of the fans.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2>The Road to Wrestle Kingdom 20 in 2026<\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Fans didn\u2019t mind the rain, as they flocked to the venue to watch and listen to both men who are set to compete at Wrestle Kingdom 20. Tanahashi will wrestle his retirement match while Wolf is set to make his pro-wrestling debut. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The pro-wrestling world will see Tanahashi\u2019s decorated 26-year career come to an end 96 days from the press conference. While he will not be under the spotlight after that, he will still be a public pro-wrestling figure as NJPW\u2019s current president.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The weather didn\u2019t dampen Tanahashi\u2019s good mood in front of the fans. He even joked that he is doing all he can with the remaining 96 days of his career, \u2018finding the abs that have been hiding for the last four years.\u2019 <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">As for the debuting rookie, Wolf talked about his daily routine and training in the NJPW dojo. He said that the toughest ones he\u2019s had to handle so far were conditioning and calf muscle pain. Aaron <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Wolf is a judoka who won gold medals in the 2017 World Judo Championships and the 2020 Olympics. He announced signing with NJPW back on June 23 this year.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Tanahashi also teased a new, one-time-only ring gear for his final match, while Wolf mentioned he has plans for his entrance that will be kept secret until January 4 itself.
