Rae has been the champion for almost two months, having defeated Zara Zakher and Zayda Steel in the tournament finals at Game Changer Wrestling: The ID Showcase on August 1st.<\/p>\n However, Rae has only competed once since capturing the championship. She emerged victorious on the September 3rd episode of WWE Evolve, beating Masyn Holiday. But with her surprise announcement, this explains why Rae has been largely absent from in-ring competition since winning the title in early August.<\/p>\n Rae is well-traveled in pro wrestling, having chalked up stints at both indie and mainstream promotions. The Illinois native has spells with STARDOM, TNA, NJPW, NWA, and RevPro on her r\u00e9sum\u00e9.
