On Sunday night at <em><strong>ICW Square Go<\/strong><\/em>, Dublin&#8217;s &#8220;Session Moth&#8221; <strong>Martina<\/strong> defeated <strong>Kasey Owens<\/strong> to become the new ICW Women&#8217;s Champion, but last night at ICW&#8217;s <em><strong>Fight Club<\/strong><\/em> taping, the belt changed hands once again, as Scottish indie star <strong>Viper<\/strong> (also known as <strong>Piper Niven<\/strong> in WWE&#8217;s <strong>Mae Young Classic<\/strong>) defeated Martina to win her second ICW Women&#8217;s title.<\/p>\n<p>https:\/\/twitter.com\/InsaneChampWres\/status\/963526739577262080<\/p>\n<p>A 9-year veteran of the UK indie circuit, Viper got her start in 2009 with the Scottish Wrestling Alliance (SWA), but it didn&#8217;t take long for her to break out of her home country. By 2011, she was working with Pro Wrestling EVE and the Knight family&#8217;s WAW. By 2013, she had made her debut with Glasgow&#8217;s ICW and since then has worked for a multitude of UK promotions, including Defiant Wrestling (WCPW), Southside Wrestling Entertainment (SWE), Preston City Wrestling (PCW), 5*Star Wrestling and more.<\/p>\n<p>https:\/\/twitter.com\/StephenLouch\/status\/963150463200772096<\/p>\n<p>In 2016, she made her Japanese debut with Stardom, originally aligning with Kagestu&#8217;s Oedo Tai. She frequently tagged with Kyoko Kimura and feuded with the likes of Io Shirai and Kairi Hojo (now NXT&#8217;s Kairi Sane). Last summer, she switched factions, joining Shirai in Queen&#8217;s Quest, and becoming the Artist of Stardom Champion (Stardom&#8217;s trios title) alongside HZK and Shirai, a title she still holds.<\/p>\n<p>https:\/\/twitter.com\/missviper91\/status\/958048788517601280<\/p>\n<p>This win is a coming of full circle for Viper, who was ICW&#8217;s inaugural Women&#8217;s Champion, winning a Triple Threat in 2015 at\u00a0<em><strong>ICW Fear &amp; Loathing III<\/strong><\/em><em>,\u00a0<\/em>against Kay Lee Ray and Nikki Storm (now NXT&#8217;s Nikki Cross).
