Since then, there have been lots of crossovers between the two companies, creating historic moments.

Los Garza won the AAA Tag Team Championships. Mr. Iguana and Psycho Clown made their SmackDown debuts a few months ago. The Worlds Collide event held in June was a resounding success.

But the craziest moment of them all happened at TripleMania XXXIII last Saturday. The event opened with the Copa Bardahl Battle Royal, which included several AAA mainstays and WWE surprises. In that field were Microman and Omos, the smallest and tallest wrestlers in the company.

During the match, the two went face-to-face, sending everyone into a frenzy. Social media was buzzing, wanting an official match between the two men. Will that be a good idea, or will the size difference prevent a match from going smoothly?

Microman and Omos’ Size Difference Could Be a Challenge

The first thing everyone noticed when the two locked eyes was the height difference between the two men. Microman measures at three-feet-three-inches tall, while Omos measures at seven-feet-three-inches tall. That’s a difference of four feet.

People connected the stare down to the now infamous Hornswoggle and The Great Khali match at Survivor Series in 2007. During that match, Hornswoggle barely got any offense in, with the majority of Khali’s strikes taking place during a brawl with Finlay. The YouTube video has nearly 50 million views, but it’s hardly a match.

The idea sounds brilliant, with both men being capable in the ring. But the execution may be challenging due to their statures. It was nice to see that spot in the battle royal on Saturday, but a four-foot height difference could put an end to the match happening.

Both Men Could Combine for an Insane Match

Some people might say both Microman and Omos are just there for entertainment. They do their spot or two to pop the crowd, and that’s it for them. Both men are used in that situation, but they are both very accomplished and talented wrestlers.

The two of them don’t let their size slow them down. They can compete with men of any height, showcasing their abilities to everyone watching. Their specific height difference is a very valid concern.

But if both men are cleared to unleash their full potential, they have an opportunity to make the crowd very happy. Microman could get thrown into the barbed wire in a steel cage match. Omos could come crashing down on tables in a tables, ladders, and chairs match.

If WWE and AAA allow both men to not hold back, a match between them could be in highlight reels for years.

Should They Have an Official Match?

Microman and Omos are two of the most unique wrestlers in the world. At a whopping four-foot height difference, people were waiting in anticipation, hoping they would cross paths at some point. During TripleMania XXXIII, the moment finally happened.

The two men went face to face, igniting memes and memories of a similar encounter. Many people now want an actual match between the two of them. There is a drawback to that idea, but there are advantages too.

The size difference could be problematic in terms of an actual match happening and being well-received. However, if both men get cleared to do whatever they want, the results could be incredible.

They could use their size to do things that people would remember for decades. A match is a huge what-if as of now, but their confrontation made wrestling fans excited for potentially something more.

More From LWOS Pro Wrestling

Header photo – WWE – Stay tuned to the Last Word on Pro Wrestling for more on Omos, Microman, WWE, AAA, and other stories from around the world of wrestling, as they develop.
