Shoma Kato &amp; YOSHI-HASHI<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2><strong><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Tsuji and Takeshita Through To The Semis<\/span><\/strong><\/h2>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Yota Tsuji and Konosuke Takeshita successfully advanced to this year\u2019s tournament semifinals after winning their respective quarterfinal matchups. Tsuji won against Shota Umino, and Takeshita overcame David Finlay.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">The quarterfinal match between Tsuji and Umino in the main event was their fifth singles encounter, but only their second in a New Japan ring. It is also their second time facing off in the G1, in which Tsuji was victorious. Last year\u2019s finalist, Gene Blast, will move on and wrestle House of Torture leader EVIL in the semifinals.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">In the other quarterfinal duel, Takeshita and Finlay went toe-to-toe for the first time.
