- Sheamus vs Rusev – they say third time’s a charm, right? Rusev returned to WWE as the Redeemer, determined to show the rest of the roster the error of its ways. This has led him directly into the path of Sheamus, who doesn’t care about any of Rusev’s protestations. He simply wants to make every night fight night. Sheamus and Rusev have battled for two weeks now with the two splitting their best-of-three so far. Each time, both have come out battered and bruised but not willing to give up the fight. Perhaps tonight will settle things in the rubber match or perhaps, Rusev and Sheamus truly are destined to fight forever.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

- The devil’s greatest trick was convincing the world he didn’t exist and Seth Rollins’ was convincing the media, the fans, the locker room that he had a knee injury. At SummerSlam, Rollins pulled off the ruse of the century at the expense of his bitter rival, CM Punk. As Punk celebrated finally winning another WWE world title, his first in 12 years, Rollins emerged to metaphorically crash the party while literally crashing his briefcase into Punk’s back. A few stomps later and the rest was history. While not confirmed, it seems all but likely that Rollins will open the show tonight to explain to the world that he’s always been two steps ahead. As Triple H said, Rollins has been playing chess while everyone else is playing checkers. He’s always had a plan B and now, he’s world champion, and a reign of dominance seems likely to follow.<\/li>\n
- Will Alexa Bliss and Charlotte Flair show up on Raw to find their next challengers for the tag team titles?<\/li>\n
- Will Becky Lynch appear, addressing Lyra Valkyria no longer being able to challenge for her title while setting up her next feud with Bayley?<\/li>\n
- What about the Brock Lesnar of it all? John Cena is not scheduled for tonight’s show so any Lesnar-related developments may need to wait until Friday when Cena makes his return to TV, doing so for the first time as a newly re-cemented babyface.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
