Callum Newman &amp; Jakob Austin Young<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>ZSJ Win Three In A Row to Take The Top Spot<\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">IWGP World Heavyweight champion and defending G1 Climax winner Zack Sabre Jr. picked up his third consecutive win in this year\u2019s tournament after tapping out Great O-Khan. ZSJ is now in a seven-way tie at eight points with Sabre, Takeshita, Moloney, Umino, YOSHI-HASHI, and Ren Narita.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">While they all have eight points, The Frontman is in first place of the B Block by virtue of the tournament\u2019s math. Meanwhile, O-Khan suffers his third loss in the tournament and his fourth loss against ZSJ in as many matches in their careers.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<h2>Takeshita And Umino Join Eight-Point Log Jam<\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Konosuke Takeshita and Shota Umino were both victorious in their respective matches, putting them in a seven-way tie. The Alpha took care of business against Bullet Club War Dogs\u2019 Drilla Moloney, while Roughneck got one over YOSHI-HASHI.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Although they have the same point total, Takeshita is in a better standing than Umino. Both men have also yet to face each other, and it is now a match that should be looked forward to due to the current situation in their block.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2>Takagi Sinks ELP Even Further<\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">NJPW World TV champion El Phantasmo is not having the best of tournaments in this year\u2019s G1. He lost his fourth consecutive match against Shingo Takagi, putting him as the only one in their block with four points.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Both men came into the show with the same point total, but Takagi prevailed to keep his playoff hopes alive. The Rampage Dragon now has six points, winning a second straight tournament bout.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Tournament action will continue tomorrow, August 3, featuring the A Block.
