The show will be in Osaka at the Yamato University Arena starting at 6:30 p.m. JST\/5:30 a.m. ET. B Block competitors will continue their tournament campaigns, and the A Block will be in preview tag matches to complete the show\u2019s lineup.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Here\u2019s the current B Block standings:<\/span><\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.njpw.co.jp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/07\/enBblock-5.jpg\" alt=\"\"><\/p>\n<h2><b>NJPW G1 Climax 35 Day 8 Card:<\/b><\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Main event: B Block &#8211; Zack Sabre Jr. vs. Konosuke Takeshita<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">8th match: B Block &#8211; Shota Umino vs. Shingo Takagi<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">7th match: B Block &#8211; Drilla Moloney vs. Ren Narita<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">6th match: B Block &#8211; El Phantasmo vs. Great O-Khan<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">5th match: Boltin Oleg &amp; Toru Yano vs. Gedo &amp; David Finlay<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">4th match: Hartley Jackson &amp; Ryohei Oiwa vs. Dick Togo &amp; EVIL<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">3rd match: Jakob Austin Young &amp; Callum Newman vs. Yoshinobu Kanemaru &amp; Sanada<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">2nd match: Katsuya Murashima &amp; Hiroshi Tanahashi vs. Yuya Uemura &amp; Shoma Kato<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">1st match: Taichi &amp; Masator Yasuda vs. Yota Tsuji &amp; Daiki Nagai<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2><b>ZSJ and Konosuke Takeshita Meet in the Ring for the First Time<\/b><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">One of the most highly anticipated matches in this year\u2019s tournament, IWGP World Heavyweight champion Zack Sabre Jr. will wrestle Konosuke Takeshita for the first time in their careers. Both men are coming off wins in their previous matches, but Takeshita is currently above ZSJ in the standings and has won two consecutive matches.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">ZSJ has only one decisive victory in the tournament so far, with his first two points coming from Gabe Kidd\u2019s forfeiture. Meanwhile, Takeshita aims to possibly grab a share of the lead in their block, currently held by YOSHI-HASHI. With the current trajectory of these two men, their first-ever singles match is a guaranteed must-watch.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><b>Ren Narita Shoots for the Top Spot<\/b><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Ren Narita is having himself a fine G1 Climax so far. Gabe Kidd\u2019s withdrawal from the tournament secured him two more points, and then he added to it by winning his previous match against Shota Umino, propelling himself to eight points.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">While he is tied with YOSHI-HASHI, he is in second place because he lost to him on day two. He looks to skip over YOSHI-HASHI and take the block\u2019s top spot.
