Shingo Takagi &amp; Daiki Nagai<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">1st match: Jado &amp; El Phantasmo def. Jakob Austin Young &amp; Great O-Khan<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2><b>Oiwa Prevails Over Tanahashi<\/b><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">TMDK\u2019s Ryohei Oiwa scored his biggest win of his maiden G1 run in the main event over Hiroshi Tanahashi. He now has six points to his name after beating the three-time G1 winner.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Both men engaged in a technically sound match, with Oiwa getting the upper hand just at the right time to win. Due to this loss, Tanahashi failed to start a winning streak and is still at four points.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><b>Uemura Beats EVIL, Tsuji Now Lead A Block<\/b><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Yuya Uemura now has six points after a hard-fought match against House of Torture\u2019s leader, EVIL. He\u2019s now on a two-match streak following his previous win over Callum Newman.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Even with the help of Dick Togo and Don Fale, EVIL failed to build another winning streak for himself. The loss leaves the King of Darkness still with six points.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In a previous match, Yota Tsuji scored a win over NEVER Openweight champion Boltin Oleg to go up to eight points. By virtue of his and Uemura\u2019s victory, Tsuji now has the solo lead in the A Block. On the other hand, Oleg absorbed his second loss in five matches and is now tied with EVIL, Uemura, and Oiwa at six points.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><b>Newman Shocks Finlay<\/b><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">It\u2019s safe to say that Bullet Club War Dogs leader David Finlay is not having the best of G1s so far. He lost his third straight match against Callum Newman and is now alone at the bottom of the standings with only two points.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Newman shocked the world by catching the former IWGP Global Heavyweight champion by surprise to get the pinfall victory and go up to four points. This loss left Finlay visibly frustrated, throwing a fit after the match.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In another A Block face-off, Sanada defeated Taichi to win his second match of the tournament.
