Turns out Evolution wasn’t just a one-time thing for Nikki Bella as a few hours before the show<\/a>, WWE announced that Nikki Bella would be back in action on Raw tonight for the first time in seven years. Bella’s opponent comes as no surprise as she’ll take on Chelsea Green following the animosity between the two during Sunday’s battle royal.<\/p>\n

Nikki Bella Continues Her Comeback<\/h2>\n

When Bella returned for Evolution, various interviews she did hinted at this being more than just an appearance at the all-women’s PLE. Leading up to Evolution, it looked like Bella was set to face Liv Morgan but an unfortunate injury to the latter delayed that feud indefinitely. Instead, Bella will get back into the ring for her first singles match in nearly a decade against Green.<\/p>\n

The two are friends outside of the ring with Green even previously suggesting she would like to defend her then-United States Championship against Bella. According to her interview with Metro, Green suggested the two had talked about such a match and while they couldn’t pull things together in time for WrestleMania 41, Bella made it clear the dream match wouldn’t be off the table.<\/p>\n

Now that the Hall of Famer is back, it remains to be seen what she has in store for the women’s division. She’ll start with Green, but after that, Bella could be gearing up to a SummerSlam match of her own.<\/p>\n
