Former England Cricket Captain Andrew \u201cFreddie\u201d Flintoff once rejected an \u201cobscene\u201d contract offer from the WWE to perform at WrestleMania.<\/p>\n

The British icon, who has recovered from a horrific car accident in 2022 that left him with brutal injuries, has recently returned to the limelight. He was a guest on the “Stick to Cricket” podcast, where he told the story of how close he was to joining Vince McMahon\u2019s promotion.<\/p>\n

\u201cI got an email from the WWE\u2026 We want to put you on a three-year contract. We\u2019ll fast-track you. In 18 months, you\u2019ll be at WrestleMania, and you\u2019ll be at the Royal Rumble. I\u2019m thinking, what do you want? And the money was obscene.\u201d<\/p>\n
