It looks like WWE is poised to revisit one of the best feuds of the pandemic era<\/a>. On Monday night, during the taping for this Friday’s SmackDown, Cody Rhodes opened the show. However, before Rhodes could say much he was interrupted by Randy Orton, who offered his respect and praise to Rhodes following their King of the Ring match. The two longtime friends were exchanging their support of one another when everyone’s favorite troublemaker hit the scene.<\/p>\n

Making his return for the first time since losing to Damian Priest at the last Saturday Night’s Main Event in May was Drew McIntyre. McIntyre talked about how sick Orton and Rhodes’ friendship made him and referenced Orton’s surprising lack of killer instinct at Night of Champions. McIntyre did his best to drive a wedge between the former Legacy stablemates but it didn’t work and the Scottish Warrior ate an RKO for his trouble.<\/p>\n
