Rather, it&#8217;s a look at professional wrestlers who have gone onto legitimate musical careers (or in some cases, started as musicians) outside of their pro wrestling career. This isn&#8217;t about <strong>Koko B. Ware<\/strong>&#8216;s &#8220;Pildedriver&#8221; or walking with <strong>Elias<\/strong>. With the recent release of <strong>Fozzy<\/strong>&#8216;s latest single, &#8220;Painless&#8221;, of their recent album,\u00a0<strong><em>Judas<\/em><\/strong>, here&#8217;s a look at 10 pro wrestlers who had successful music careers outside of their in-ring careers (<em>Note: This list features more guitar oriented or pop artists &#8211; we&#8217;ll follow up with a rap\/hip-hop centric list)<\/em><\/p>\n<h3><strong>JIMMY HART, <\/strong>The Gentrys<\/h3>\n<figure id=\"attachment_13754\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-13754\" style=\"width: 456px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-13754\" src=\"https:\/\/lwosonprowrestling.ms.lastwordonsports.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/15\/2018\/02\/jimmy-hart.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"456\" height=\"352\" srcset=\"https:\/\/lastwordonsports.com\/prowrestling\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/15\/2018\/02\/jimmy-hart.jpg 456w, https:\/\/lastwordonsports.com\/prowrestling\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/15\/2018\/02\/jimmy-hart-300x232.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 456px) 100vw, 456px\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-13754\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Photo: WWE<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p><strong>Jimmy Hart<\/strong> was one of the founders of the Memphis pop\/rock band in 1963, long before he picked up his megaphone to become &#8220;The Mouth of the South&#8221; and one of pro wrestling&#8217;s most colorful managers. The had a #4 Billboard hit with &#8220;Keep On Dancing&#8221;, before breaking up in 1966. Along with their second album, 2002&#8217;s\u00a0<strong><em>Happenstance<\/em><\/strong>, Fozzy was more of a comedic party rock band, with Spinal Tap-esque origins and mostly cover songs. But on 2005&#8217;s\u00a0<em><strong>All That Remains<\/strong><\/em><em>,\u00a0<\/em>Fozzy entered new territory as more of a &#8220;legit&#8221; band, focusing on their originals instead of the covers the previous two albums were based around. He signed the band to his own <strong>Hellcat Records<\/strong>.
