This week\u2019s episode of WWE NXT will see TNA Director of Authority Santino Marella step back into a WWE ring. Beyond that, this show could set up some major matches ahead of Heatwave, which takes place in less than four weeks. Here is the WWE NXT preview for July 29.<\/p>\n

Jaida Parker and Lash Legend look to step up and challenge Jacy Jayne, but they first have to get past the other members of Fatal Influence. Parker will face Jazmyn Nyx, whilst Legend faces Fallon Henley this week.<\/p>\n

    Ethan Page Defends Gold Against Santino Marella<\/h2>\n

    On the July 22 edition of NXT, NXT North American Champion Ethan Page addressed the Texas audience. There, he presented a new version of the North American Championship – one that had the Canadian flag all over it. Just as he was getting into singing the Canadian national anthem, TNA Director of Authority Santino Marella interrupted him.<\/p>\n

    Marella is a former WWE Superstar himself, and he is also a Canadian national. He personally took offense to Page’s behaviour, and it led to a heated exchange between the two, thus resulting in this match-up. Could Marella be the first TNA star to claim an NXT Championship?<\/p>\n
