It was only going to be a matter of time until Punk and Cena locked horns for one last time<\/a> and it appears that time will be at Night of Champions later this month in Saudi Arabia. Now, John Cena smirked as he accepted Punk’s challenge. Punk told Cena to pick the date and Cena did. The two will clash for the first time in over a decade in singles competition in just a few short weeks in a country where Punk’s status has always felt very up-in-the-air at best. But it looks like 2025 will see Punk make his Saudi Arabian debut and he’ll do so in perhaps the biggest and most important match of his career.<\/p>\n CM Punk told John Cena when he returned to WWE that winning another title wasn’t on his bucket list because he didn’t like the man it turned him into back in 2012. However, he saw that the only path forward not just for him but for the guys in the back, the fans, and even the company, was to become a monster in order to defeat a monster.<\/p>\n Later in the night, Adam Pearce made it official.
